She can do what tons of others have done in similar places, put on the ugly makeup, gain a bit of weight and see how it goes - see Charlize Theron in Monster or whatever. She could take alt indie roles that make people think she is more intelligent than they are (Scarlett Johannsen, who in interviews sounds pretty damn dumb or Brad Pitt who actually seems reasonably intelligent).
Or she can just accept she is the latest flavor of the month and that she will be on the B movie pile trying to recapture her glory years soon enough.
