- shutaro, on 10/05/2009, -47/+611YO SETH GREEN, I'M REALLY HAPPY FOR YOU. IMMA LET YOU FINISH, BUT CHRISTIAN BALE'S FREAK OUT WAS ONE OF THE BEST OF ALL TIME
- atarijedi, on 10/05/2009, -1/+495Someone mugged him just outside and stole some of his gear, and the security guard was busy inside moving a table while this happened. That is why Seth flipped out.
- roessnakhan, on 10/05/2009, -11/+372Wow, he's tiny.
- mGARANDEUR1, on 10/06/2009, -2/+273I guess that is a pretty decent reason to flip out if a security guard isn't doing his job.
- SirBruce, on 10/06/2009, -3/+220The guy just got robbed and people were not doing anything about it, I can understand him being upset. And you don't put hands on a guy who is that riled up. That said, all he did was yell and push over a table; he didn't even really insult anyone personally or anything. He lost his cool, but he wasn't an ***** about it. This is how good people act when they are upset. I don't think Seth did anything wrong.
- nerdpulse, on 10/06/2009, -13/+219If your stuff is getting stolen from your room while the security guard is playing furniture mover you have every right to freak out.
- varmit, on 10/05/2009, -29/+207I think he is yelling at someone for moving his stuff to another spot, and from that spot someone stole it. I would be pissed too if my bag went missing too, and my bag has my laptop in it.
- novadaemon, on 10/06/2009, -15/+181He took that table and HE THREW IT ON THE GROUND! He ain't part of this system. He's an adult. You can't calm him down security guard. MAAAAAAAN!
- WafflesID, on 10/06/2009, -1/+100If somebody stole some of my ***** I'd be pissed too.
- inactive, on 10/05/2009, -23/+115when will movie studios get a new idea for viral videos?
- preppypoof, on 10/05/2009, -8/+74hey MBM...it's "loses", not "looses".
you'd think with all of that practice submitting you'd be a decent speller by now... - MCA2142, on 10/06/2009, -1/+60This will be a segment on the next Family Guy.
- MarkMontoya, on 10/05/2009, -23/+75I guess someone got into his tree... what else would explain the elf being that pissed?
- bigd063, on 10/06/2009, -2/+51Google says he's 5'4".
- sporkman, on 10/07/2009, -0/+46No, he's yelling because like he says he got mugged and got his ***** stolen while the security guard was inside moving a table, which is why he flips the table over.
- Ne007, on 10/06/2009, -4/+49If you stretch him maybe.
- BorsKaegel, on 10/05/2009, -6/+49Now Peter Griffin needs to do a freak-out clip on him, just like with Bale. Would be even more hilarious, considering Seth is the voice of his son.
"Wait.. wait.. are you coming on to me?" - robosexy, on 10/06/2009, -3/+41Why did a bunch of videos about weight training and muscle workouts suddenly appear in the suggested videos?
- mst3kcrow, on 10/06/2009, -1/+38Yeah, touching a person that's riled up is only stoking the flames. The security guard ***** up pretty hardcore if he was supposed to be watching his stuff; not to mention the guy taping it is probably asking for a ***** storm himself. So dropping the unemployment line phrase is fairly justified. If someone was paying a guard to watch my ***** and it got ganked, I'd be pretty pissed too. If it's real he's probably more pissed about the data that was lost more so then the actual laptop; would hope someone that geeky is using encryption or at least having his assistant make backups.
Side note: did anyone else found the "moving a table" excuse kind of odd? - centran, on 10/06/2009, -3/+40If this is viral then what are they trying to promote?
Sometimes people just lose it... It happens to all of us. Especially if you just got mugged like what happened to Seth moments before that video. - executex, on 10/05/2009, -11/+42Now that's an actor... I totally believed that he freaked out.
- Chairboy, on 10/06/2009, -3/+27Like what, use heat-ray vision to melt the camera?
- idolman, on 10/06/2009, -9/+32easily one of the coolest guys in hollywood. over 100 tv and movie credits by the time he was 30. thats a resume unmatched by anyone... and he is MOT
- heliumflash, on 10/05/2009, -13/+35Did I just watch a kid freak out and overturn a table?
- yocouchdigga, on 10/06/2009, -2/+24Smells like cabbage.
- yocouchdigga, on 10/06/2009, -2/+23Getting gear jacked sucks, I'd be raging too. I don't think I'd blame the security guy but that is some suspicious timing.
- stotty, on 10/06/2009, -0/+21"Seth looses it on the set last week". Can someone explained what Seth loosed please? What is this action of loosing? How does one loose?
- consoneo, on 10/06/2009, -1/+21Just because you can replace the physical part of a computer doesn't mean you can replace what's on it... I've had some times that if my computer was stolen I'd be out of a ~100 hours of work that I'd completed. I'm sure he had much more than that on any computer he had. If one was even stolen.
- skiingpowder10, on 10/06/2009, -2/+21not sure who seth green is but he was robbed and was upset , quite natural and to have someone video tape someone in that state is ***** lame and should be fired as well
- peestandingup, on 10/06/2009, -3/+21Or my stash. Thats grounds for murder.
- daone, on 10/06/2009, -0/+17Just because Seth has money to spend, does not mean he can buy people off and destroy their property.
Especially in this sue happy world. - 64705, on 10/06/2009, -0/+16Just remember, your ***** is safest in the toilet.
- SirBruce, on 10/06/2009, -0/+15I'm just saying that people are emotional under times of stress. Compared to other Hollywood examples like Christian Bale, Naomi Campbell, Russell Crowe, etc. Seth's seems pretty tame. Also, many times people can reveal a true vindictive nature when they are upset; Seth didn't attack anyone else there on a personal level or was particularly spiteful. Yes, he lost his cool, and he probably felt bad about it an hour later, but I can't see myself thinking less of the man for a small blow-up like this.
- Mapekz, on 10/06/2009, -3/+17I clicked this article just to find that comment and, if not found, post it myself.
- TECHSev, on 10/06/2009, -0/+14Seth Updated his Personal website with an apology
taken from http://www.sethgreenonline.com/
Hey guys,
I just wanted to address the video that was making the rounds yesterday. I offer my sincerest apologies to the cast and crew and any of my family, friends or fans that might possibly have been offended.
In this case, there were severe extenuating circumstances and while I feel like I might have overacted, it was a unique situation and it won't happen again.
I am dealing with this problem in conjunction with the authorities, so I appreciate everyone's continued understanding and privacy.
Thank you so much,
Seth - sgxyay, on 10/06/2009, -0/+10Maybe throw some f-missiles in there too.
- sporkman, on 10/07/2009, -1/+11I'm glad someone can actually listen to what he's saying instead of assuming he's just another pissed off celebrity.
- FunFactor100, on 10/06/2009, -0/+10Where did this 20K figure come from?
- mike42979, on 10/06/2009, -1/+10Thats what she said?
- Fleagleman, on 10/06/2009, -0/+9I gotta say, this freakout is warranted and not really that funny. Honestly, why WAS that security guard touching him like that? It seems as though they were all speaking in that typical calm, condescending tone that you use when you think someone is acting irrational. What it does is invalidate the other person's feelings and usually just makes them more upset.
Having said that, yes, it is just a little funny. Short people yelling always is. - robdiggity, on 10/06/2009, -0/+9Not really. Thief (or accomplice of theif) asks for help moving a table to get guard out of position. Then thief makes off with stuff. Happens all the time.
- rocknog, on 10/06/2009, -0/+9It'd be a pointless effort, if you ask me. It's not like his reputation is ruined or anything - he had his ***** stolen, and he flipped out, a perfectly natural reaction in that sort of situation. So why should he blow money or whatever to get the tape and ensure that it doesn't go on the Internet?
- DesertTripper, on 10/06/2009, -0/+9One looses with a moose in the hoose.
- AmishMack, on 10/06/2009, -0/+9It was almost... evil?
- Headinawheel, on 10/09/2009, -0/+9Yeah - when you get tackled to the ground by two guys, and get your gear stolen from you, when there should be a security guard right where you are (who, incidently, is being paid), it's the security guard's fault, and as such, didn't do his damn job.
Just because you can buy something a thousand times over, doesn't mean you wouldn't hate having it stolen from you. Especially if there was more than camera equipment (say: data, for example) in there. - datdamonfoo, on 10/07/2009, -0/+8Is it bad that I was raised Jewish and had no idea what MOT meant?
- TheVirus, on 10/06/2009, -2/+10He would be a decent speller, if he bothered typing anything. He just copy/pastes the link and description.
- brendonsmall, on 10/06/2009, -0/+8not to mention it could have been very sensitive showbiz stuff, like new family guy or robot chicken work. *fingers crossed for a leak* :P
- nickervision, on 10/06/2009, -0/+8wow... really? I love how your brain worked that one out.
- PcChip, on 10/09/2009, -1/+9I believe you
