- callinthelaw69, on 11/03/2008, -1/+28I was about to say....what the ***** just happened in that video?
- D3koy, on 11/03/2008, -2/+26That was a complete waste of time. I saw several idiots chanting, then a man in a blue ***** (presumably SBC) then the video ended. That's not a trailer, or a teaser, that's the fluff that ends up on the cutting room floor.
- Lula87, on 11/03/2008, -1/+24"The rise of club music, the fall of apartheid - coincidence or not?"
- Sokkratez, on 11/03/2008, -1/+23I know, right? Couldn't follow that at all.
- tconnect80, on 11/03/2008, -0/+21I'm so... startled
- diggtower, on 11/03/2008, -1/+18"If you believe being gay is immoral, you must believe that eating shellfish is immoral as well as wearing clothes of more than one cloth.
Otherwise you're just picking and choosing what you want to from the bible and being a hateful person based on your ignorance and prejudice." - benroy, on 11/03/2008, -1/+18I have no idea what 's going on right now....
- vladin, on 11/04/2008, -2/+17Prop 8 is anti American and anti human.. nothing but pro religious backward ass *****. stop telling other people how they can live because you personally don't like it. *****.. Get of it.

- tschau, on 11/04/2008, -0/+13they humiliated themselves. He just showed them on film.
- ryansimbalist, on 11/04/2008, -0/+13Because, "IT'S BRUNO!"
- bjornski, on 11/03/2008, -3/+15Why? Bigot much?
Just think. If gay marriage was legal, you'd never see another of these protests again. If gays were "accepted", you'd never seen another gay pride festival. There would be no need.
Just sayin'... - TheHim, on 11/04/2008, -0/+12p.s. I had no idea about the t=time parameter of Youtube. Very useful, thanks
- iupetre, on 11/03/2008, -1/+13Is this supposed to be funny? All I saw was some yelling and someone dodging people in a crowd. hmm... buried
- stopbrorape, on 11/04/2008, -0/+11I didn't see anything funny in there.
- kingmanic, on 11/03/2008, -4/+14Is it because I is black ?

- Hetman, on 11/03/2008, -5/+15He is so funny. I recommend watching da ali G show if you like Cohen. I personally like it a lot more than his movie.
- decx, on 11/03/2008, -0/+9finding freaks who don't know anything is not too hard
- FXPooky, on 11/03/2008, -0/+9Can someone explain to me what happens in this video? Can't make it out.
- trshtehdsh, on 11/03/2008, -1/+10Bruno is one of my fave Ali G characters, he gets those "fashionistas" to say the most inane, backtracking, contradictory crap... it's beautiful. it's like watching a surgeon at work. i can't wait to see the movie.
- SDL486, on 11/04/2008, -0/+9Why is this on the front page? Bruno did not say one thing and all I saw was an angry crowd full of bigots.
- stayputnik, on 11/04/2008, -0/+8exactly... there's 1 minute and 18 seconds i'll never get back.
- aceslick911, on 11/04/2008, -0/+8no idea what the ***** happened... whats with the perez tv? why couldnt i even see *****?
Re-encode much? - FredFredrickson, on 11/04/2008, -2/+10Gay marriage has been legal in California for a year - and we haven't gone to the dogs yet. We'll know it has *truly* gone to the dogs when religious zealots start getting legislation passed that forces their views on everyone else.
- nmanguy, on 11/03/2008, -0/+7I did not get what the hell was going on in that. When will YOutube turn High-Def so we can see clearer images?
- ManJamimah, on 11/03/2008, -0/+7For anyone who doesn't know, Bruno is a gay Austrian character from Sacha Baron Cohen, the same guy who does Ali G and Borat. He's currently making another film in the style of "Borat" with his Bruno character, and this is footage of him showing up at a "Yes on Prop 8" rally, just to ruffle some feathers. This video is pretty shoddy, but I bet it'll be a great scene if it ends up in the movie.
- trshtehdsh, on 11/03/2008, -1/+8i saw that once and i STILL say "nishnish" to people, maybe after the movie comes out people will know what the hell i'm referencing.
- merreborn, on 11/03/2008, -1/+8FWIW, when the submitter says "Prop 8 Gay Rally", he apparently means: "Rally in favor of prop 8".
In any other context, "Prop 8 Gay Rally" would probably mean "Rally against prop 8". - PrintScrn12, on 11/03/2008, -2/+9No on hate. Yes on working people up for humour. No on 8.
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 11/03/2008, -2/+9And I love watching his characters piss people off!
- Diggnabbit, on 11/04/2008, -0/+7That would be fine, if Christians had any right to define what marriage is. But they don't, not in the U.S. It's a civil status under the law, not a religious one.
(And yes, I did read your article. I, too, would prefer your option #1 - though I'd like to point out that it would allow religions and people that did believe in gay marriage to call it "marriage.") - Cenobite, on 11/04/2008, -0/+6It's a Guinea-saurus Rex!
