- Maksx, on 04/22/2009, -0/+28I feel sorry for hulk hogan, he was an icon of the 80's, and now he has a talentless daughter, a criminal son, and an ugly leach of a wife draining him for every dollar
- michaelpinto, on 04/22/2009, -0/+21It's not natural to have cameras following your every move - and that doesn't add anything to a relationship...
- StigNordas, on 04/21/2009, -2/+17I'm bummed about John & Kate. I agree that Kate was a complete psychopath, but they should stick it out for the kids. Even if it means separate beds.
- Paranor01, on 04/22/2009, -1/+13"Reality" TV isn't. They're relationships died not cause of the camera's, but cause of themselves. TV just helped it along.
- MidnightReign, on 04/22/2009, -0/+12I'm just glad I'm not the only one who thought that about Jon. I commented to my wife one day about how utterly miserable he looked sitting on that couch next to her, and she just looked at me like it was some kind of comment on our own relationship. After a few days of watching re-runs (and a bit of a cold shoulder), she came to me one evening and just said "You know, you're right."
- almayng, on 04/22/2009, -0/+11What about Travis Barker and Shanna Moakle in "Meet the Barkers"?
- bigteebo, on 04/22/2009, -0/+9Rolling Stone, still on the forefront of music reporting.
- lroche, on 04/22/2009, -0/+8The only couple who legitimately fit are Jon and Kate as they weren't really famous before the show. The rest are self absorbed whiners whose relationships would have fizzled out anyways.
- orthodoxDrew, on 04/22/2009, -0/+6as long as the brady bunch guy and that whiny model chick keep arguing about nothing, i'm good
- JackSchittt, on 04/22/2009, -0/+5Brooke had better look for a real job soon, and not think she's going to survive off of Daddy Hogan's money. She certainly isn't going to make it in the music business, and Hogan's gonna be broke very, very soon.
He's going to lose his shirt in the lawsuit from that car accident. What little is left after that's done (if anything) is going to pay off lawyers' fees. And Linda is going to suck up whatever's left. - TheTruth1, on 04/22/2009, -0/+5I actually started looking at this, and then I remembered...who gives a *****? These shows are retarded.
- misterparry, on 04/22/2009, -0/+4Sounds like most professional wrestlers minus mick foley
- howdareyou, on 04/22/2009, -1/+5I'm not sure what TLC offered them, and I know they must have been scared ***** about raising 8 kids on a single income, but raising your family on a TV show is never a good idea. It was an incredible risk, and maybe they figured the rewards were worth it?
I'm guessing TLC bought them their new bigger home, and all the fancy trips to Hawaii and Disneyland, but c'mon their kids are the ones who will suffer when they split up or TLC drops them.
To me there isn't that big of a difference between the Octomom and Kate and Jon. Jon and Kate already had two healthy children, but that wasn't enough for them they needed to fulfill some empty void in their lives with more children. - inactive, on 04/22/2009, -1/+5Jon and Kate teaches a very important lesson to all males - think twice before having kids!
- halfmeout, on 04/22/2009, -0/+3I would say the majority of these relationships were extended because of the shows. I mean, Nick and Jessica were doomed if they weren't pulling down like 15 million a year from the show. It was apparent in the last season that they were headed for divorvce and probably would have been there if it weren't for the money. I would say public interest extended the marriages that were already ruined.
- ssquared22, on 04/22/2009, -0/+3That was the wedding invitation to Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro's wedding.
- phydeaux70, on 04/22/2009, -0/+3Relationships have failed for a long period of time, the rub here is that people got to watch them disolve on television. I think this says more about society than the married couples. You'd think that as messed up as some of these 'celebrity' couples are people would learn from their experiences.
The most important thing you can spend on your wife/child, is time. - ylikone, on 04/22/2009, -1/+4So wait, are John & Kate having relationship problems? Are they separated or divorced now?
- vili89, on 04/22/2009, -1/+3This is absolutely theatre. Hulk i great in Thunder in Paradise, but this reality TV is some very boring show.
- M4NiC5, on 04/22/2009, -2/+4actually there is a big difference between Kate and Octomom and that is Octo knew she was going to have that many and Kate never really did. Kate needed assistance due to "pregnancy problems" and OctoWhore wanted more kids for attention.
- ghostlywind, on 04/22/2009, -1/+3I never knew some of those reality shows ever existed like Britney & Kevin, so glad i never saw them or i would of had to gouge my eyes out.
- wastelander, on 04/22/2009, -0/+2WTF was naked couple on the slab about?
- elizabethbrady, on 04/22/2009, -0/+2can we name a celeb couple/reality TV couple that actually BENEFITED from having cameras in their relationship? I'm drawing a blank. seems like a bad idea no matter who you are, or how trashy you are....
- falconear, on 04/22/2009, -0/+1What you have to remember is that these relationships are generally not on the soundest footing to begin with. My understanding is that the Hogan's marriage was in big trouble before the show was even thought of. And Hollywood marriages aren't exactly stable to begin with, are they?
The one exception is Jon and Kate, which my gf is obsessed with. I thought it was just me that hated that vile woman, but I see the revulsion growing on Jon's eyes with each demeaning episode. Of course, neither will be quick to abandon their meal ticket, aka the +8. - ofmartyrs, on 04/22/2009, -0/+1man her comeback made me forget all about how trailer-trash Britney Spears is in reality
- inactive, on 04/22/2009, -1/+2How about the Skipper and Gilligan, finally finding acceptance with their alternative lifestyle in the on that tropical Island.
The farm girl and the movie star always trying to change Gilligan, you could see that it just confussed Gilligan and ruined his relationship with Skipper - elizabethbrady, on 04/22/2009, -0/+1TOTALLY! they were the worstttttt. And it all blew up in their faces, as usual!
- howdareyou, on 04/22/2009, -1/+2Octomom didn't know she was going to have that many kids either, though I'm sure she would have kept trying until she did.
It's funny that both Octomom and Kate are religious, yet didn't think being infertile were signs from god to not have kids.
Jon and Kate turned to artificial insemination a second time even after they had an opportunity to adopt. Kate was even hospitalized for over stimulating her ovaries. The worst part of it all is that they risked the health of all 6 fetuses when they refused selective reduction. - M4NiC5, on 04/22/2009, -1/+1I'm pretty sure he commented on this and said all the rumors are just that...rumors.
- annieblander, on 04/22/2009, -2/+1w000000t
- ElphabaLives, on 04/22/2009, -9/+4After Linda ditched him, Hulk had to bleach his hair by himself for the first time. He left it on too long and burned his hair off. Now he wears white extensions.
Sad.
