- imabot, on 06/12/2008, -4/+93Looks like he had his teeth whitened..
=D - pitdog, on 06/12/2008, -12/+86TOP GEAR - one of the last remaining islands of normalcy in this modern politically correct stupid world full of crazy bearded vegetarian leftist militia and ugly sweater wearing eco women ;)
Keep the fight on guys. - Erythroxylum, on 06/11/2008, -7/+73Heh, the dog did a ***** in the Porsche. That'll teach him to accept extorted money.
Seriously though I wish him all the best and am glad he didn't, well, die. - missjb, on 06/12/2008, -11/+76Top gear is the best show on television. If you're a man (and I'm not btw), you can't miss it.
- protogenxl, on 06/12/2008, -0/+60Where is Oliver?
- KMartSheriff, on 06/12/2008, -1/+50COMIN AGAIN TO DRIVE THE ***** CAR YEAH!
- drlha, on 06/12/2008, -2/+51It's "Bollocks" not Bullox.
- zephyr42, on 06/12/2008, -0/+45Here's the near fatal accident Richard Hammond is referring to.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJEMqrp0n-4 - Reaper2806, on 06/12/2008, -0/+45Taking aside the fact he's a such a nice guy, it takes real character to get back into his work after the crash he suffered. That's grit and steel balls for you right there.
- Stonekeeper, on 06/12/2008, -0/+45TIGERS RACING BADGERS!!!! OMG!
- bosssmiley, on 06/12/2008, -1/+42"POOOOOOOOWWWWWWAAAAAHHHH!!!" - Jeremy Clarkson, future British Minister for Transport
Richard Hammond cannot die. They strapped the little guy to a rocket, shot him into the ground, and he survived with nothing more than a bump on the head and an enhanced liking for Branston Pickle.
True story. Read his autobiography. - inactive, on 06/12/2008, -0/+39Richard Hammond fact - He's immune to brain damage.
Mr.T also helped him out of his coma.
I'm so glad he didn't die :x - craighamnett, on 06/12/2008, -1/+37Richard Hammond submitted this article?
- logicalnoise, on 06/12/2008, -0/+33not only that but just hours after the crash he was already beseeching BBC to not cancel top gear because of his crash.
- spwpi10, on 06/12/2008, -0/+30He called them mid-coma. He's just that badass.
- richardhammond, on 06/12/2008, -1/+30I am reading your comments! But, Alas, I am not actually the real Richard Hammond. I wish I was though.
- st3vo, on 06/12/2008, -2/+3110 days, 0 hours, 57 minutes, and 52 seconds until the next season of Top Gear gets seeded on June 22nd.
- JoeBaynham, on 06/12/2008, -8/+35Dugg down for lying, everyone knows there aren't any woman on digg.
- KMartSheriff, on 06/12/2008, -0/+24"..the most coolest.."
*brain explodes* - columbusgeek, on 06/12/2008, -0/+23HIs wife looks like she is twice his height.
...then again that would only come out to a 5'5" tall female. - dp9ny, on 06/12/2008, -1/+22i wish you hadn't said that.
- StuffOfInterest, on 06/12/2008, -1/+20Hey, it was my wife who turned me onto the show. :) Fortunately, we get the British version over here in America on BBC America.
- snotrokit, on 06/12/2008, -0/+18wow. Hey Richard, if you are reading your comments, we love you here in the states!!!!
- Kamatz, on 06/12/2008, -0/+17Gotta love that Hamster.
- braavosi, on 06/12/2008, -0/+17On 22 July 2007, during severe flooding, Hammond left his Porsche 911 - in which he had been stuck in traffic for 13 hours - to run home for his daughter's birthday. He ran 16 miles (25 km) in two-and-a-half hours (from 3am to 5:30 am), arriving home before his daughter woke up. [7] [8].
- MaxMWood, on 06/12/2008, -0/+16I love how The Stig is just sat there..
- kevdotbadger, on 06/12/2008, -0/+16New series of top gear starts soon, saw the advert on bbc.
- Fullvinyl, on 06/12/2008, -0/+16Oh god no...the fastest way to ruin a British programme is to make an American version.
- DavidTW, on 06/12/2008, -1/+17Love Top Gear! My son never misses a show. Just bought him the DVD of the Challenges what a laugh.
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -0/+16Celery. Didn't like it before the accident, likes it now.
- dioxys, on 06/12/2008, -0/+16The reason that wouldn't work is this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=x7EWJud1qqs
- ClunkClunk, on 06/12/2008, -3/+18StuffOfInterest:
Actually, no you don't. The BBC:A versions are slightly edited to cut down a 60 minute program to 44 minutes (for commercials), and they remove a lot of the music that's used in the episodes as the British version contains stuff that violates American copyright laws (but doesn't violate British, since the BBC is non profit, I believe). The episodes are also run nearly 2 years after they're run on the BBC as well.
It's nearly the same, but a true TG fan downloads the British rips. - GreenAlien, on 06/12/2008, -0/+13"Looks like he had his teeth whitened.."
Jeremy Clarkson uses Digg? - wrestlingnrj, on 06/12/2008, -1/+14Hey wait I'm from Southern California! *looks around* Darn you're right.
- cawpin, on 06/12/2008, -1/+14Well, considering there is ONLY the British version of Top Gear, duh.
- isntreal, on 06/12/2008, -1/+13You realize that what you just described is still only about 2% of the population.. or all of southern california.
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -0/+12It's not a BBC book.
- mattbeetee, on 06/12/2008, -0/+11I am actually jumping up and down in anticipation for the next series. It's going to rock so very, very hard.
I went to see them do their live show in Birmingham, I recommend it if you get the chance in the future. It wasn't like watching them shoot an episode, it was like a Top Gear circus. - wisam, on 06/12/2008, -0/+11Well, he did suffer depression from the crash. On his first day back on the show, he made his co-hosts promise not to mention the crash again.
It wasn't that he just walked out of the crash untouched. It really did physically and psychologically affect him.
He's a nice guy though. Wish him the best. - logicalnoise, on 06/12/2008, -0/+10THE TOYBOTA WILL LIVE ON!
- Owwmykneecap, on 06/12/2008, -0/+10He is the only man cool enough to Digg himself and stay cool.
Well him and the Fonz. - dorkdork777, on 06/12/2008, -0/+10You know why it's called "English", right?
- Fullvinyl, on 06/12/2008, -2/+12Clarkson has indeed used the "Team America" Secret Signal before.
- snotrokit, on 06/13/2008, -0/+9A Richard Hammond imposter!
- xaccie, on 06/12/2008, -0/+9The near-death experience of Richard is no joke for sure. Anyone who has seen the series knows, and anyone who does not know, but is even remotely interested in cars, humour & friendship should try to catch up on the series asap.
- GreenAlien, on 06/12/2008, -0/+9Been a while since I've seen that. Awesome.
Though I wonder if there's an option to turn off the Youtube comments permanently. I always know it's going to be a complete teen tard fest of uselessness but the Digg compulsive disorder kicks in and I end up reading the comments. -
