- northerncomfort, on 10/12/2007, -5/+97Put him in prison. Get it? Get it?
No, seriously, put this drunk driving slime in jail with the rest of the drunk driving slime. Forgettable network TV stars are not exempt from the law. - vandalet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+70no biggie, they already killed him off the show.
- circusbred, on 10/12/2007, -4/+60What a douche.
- ComputerGeekMat, on 10/12/2007, -3/+54At least he already has experience escaping from jail.
- dickeytk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32yeah, he played tweenut for those that don't know
and he was a minor character, not a star - zerocomm, on 10/12/2007, -5/+29He needs to go to jail. Drunk and high, hit someone with his car. And hes totally shameless.
- Ninjab3ar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24Im in no way defending the guy, but why do you say he is shameless. Did you see him last night at a bar bragging about how he killed the girl?

try it sometimes - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+24Lane Garrison is the guy who played the younger guy, that already died (in the show)
he was the one who talked like he was a rapper or something, and had swift pick pocket skills, i think he was in prison for stealing a baseball card (that ended up being worth a TON so he got prison)
hes not either of the main stars, hes not even a living character in the series anymore, he died in season 1 - unicronband, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Irony?
- jull1234, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19He was sodomized quite regularly in Prison Break.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15He was barely a star. Who cares
- UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14He was partying with teenagers too... all around a night of poor decisions on his part.
- mildgreenfairy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13This season in UK
- sumrandommember, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12That's not a spoiler, it happened last season.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11He was a bitch on the show, and he'll be a bitch in prison too. See if he's learned anything...
- jgc7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10He didn't hit someone with his car. He hit a tree, and a passenger died. RTFA.
- DreKor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Read The Article, he hit a tree, not a person. The reason the girl died was because she was in the car WITH him, and so were the 2 injured girls. Basically, this guy is a douche and was running around with underage girls. Oh, and he had coke in his system.
(igc7 beat me, kind of) - lordsandwich, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I think he'll find it to be more like Oz than Prison Break.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I want to know what he was doing drunk with two 15 year old girls in the vehicle.
- sumrandommember, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Sorry, not "last" season, but before the December hiatus.
- anhnguyen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6the person who wrote the headline sure uses the term "star" loosely
- D3koy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6there is a lot of that going around...

"Braun has said previously that Garrison met the youths at a grocery store and accompanied them to a party, where he had one drink. He told the Los Angeles Times that Garrison didn't remember anything about the accident after waking up in a hospital.
Snowden alleged that Garrison gave alcohol to the teens more than once that evening."
That's why. - fingerdigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Hey Lane! This here is Bubba from the joint. Can't wait for your arrival!!
XOXOXOXO - jamesthejust, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Lets see him break out of this one!
- Puttockc, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8he needs to be castrated, Shot in both knees and hung
- tboutcher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Did anyone else get concerned when they saw the headline thinking one of the brothers was going to jail, then feel better when they found out it was just tweener
- Ninjab3ar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I guess that acting on that show prepared him for this.
- Peach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@Jaymoon31
I'm pretty sure it was after his character died. I remember reading about it after it first happened and thinking to myself that it was silly they labeled him a 'Prison Break Star' when his character was dead. - phantom_mullet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What is it with celebrities and their Land Rovers these days? I was reading that Brandy (music star/America's Got Talent judge) rear-ended and killed somebody just a few weeks ago in her Land Rover.
- LunchB0x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@gardnmi
Cellphone records were checked and so was her blood and hair and a bunch of other stuff. Celebrities (especially minorities without gov ties) undergo deeper investigations than the average joe. She wasn't on the phone, wasn't drunk, or high. She wasn't even speeding. They found nothing, the DA's recommendation is a normal action in cases involving a death, it's rarely acted upon when it's shown there was no gross negligence on the part of the defendant. The cars were moving at freeway speeds, in a fairly tight pack. There was a sudden stop ahead of her and she skidded into the car in front of her. From a legal standpoint if you rear end someone it's automatically your fault. The difference in mass of the two vehicles is most likely what made the crash fatal. (A large SUV struck a small sedan) Brandy's attorney's have made several offers to settle for pain and suffering but the victim's family wanted more than Brandy's camp was willing to pay, so they are opening a civil suit. - LonesomeFighter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3He won't serve 10 years. Maybe at most a year, but not in the regular people's jail. In the ones without butt raping. He will have to do lots of community service (autograph pictures for fans).
Our legal system might be a joke, but if you made it big and had money you'd want it to be a joke too. But most of us regular people know not to get high, drunk, and drive at same time. And we know to be with girls of legal age. - thephosphorbox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This guy needs to be put the hell away. I hope we're finally entering the age where celebrities are not allowed to get off the hook. You f*ck up, you're treated just like the rest of us. Worst part about it is, he's probably sitting in his posh house right now living it up while he waits for the DA to figure out whether or not they're going to charge his guilty ass.
WTF is wrong with this country?? - MeekoTheRaccoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd rather he have stolen a baseball card, than get kill someone in a DUI situation.
Prison Break is a good show though. Thank god for Netflix. Netflix recommended it to me, after I passed on the first season. The DVDs and Fox's Video on Demand has me up to date.
Since the spoiled info is already out, I will add;
How can they still headline with "Prison Break Star" then?
Also, this story is somewhat old already. - trappedwind, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I suppose he is living up his D-list celebrity status with the under 18 crowd who do watch prison break. Send him to jail. Nobody who drinks enough to not remember driving and killing a 17 year old girl deserves to be free to enjoy his life.
- dickeytk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It happened on dec. 2nd, his character was dead then, he died last season
- bobus2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1maybe inside he will befriend a veteran con who takes lane under his wing and protects him. and as for the food he is used too. he can feed info to the main guard for cheese burgers. Hopefully a few months later he can get in on a prison escape only to be killed after he meets a respectable girl on a road in Utah.that he falls for but then is killed a psycho FBI agent.
- cyrusdh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I have actually partied with this guy in dallas while he was filiming prison break. He enjoyed party favors so I am not really suprised. Its still pretty sad, looks like he will be spending some time in jail but you reap what you sow.
- ringo380, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The tweenut guy was pretty ripped in the show. I kept wondering why he didn't just beat the ***** out of T-bag. I doubt he'll have too hard of a time keeping the prison rapists at bay.
- LogicBomB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Humans are humans - you do the crime, you pay the crime. Throw him in jail or make him pay gigantic restitution fees to society/the family. I don't personally care if the guy goes to jail or if he has to fork out half of his earnings to better society.
- noigetit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If cocaine was detected in his blood, he had to have used it within a five-day period. What a crazy coke binge ending. You get drunk with teenage girls while crashing your vehicle into a tree, killing one of them, injuring the other two, getting canned on the hit show, ruining your acting career, and finally waking up in a hospital wondering what the hell happened.
- jonellison13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"driving under the influence"?!? give me a break! He had a .20 BAL and coke in his blood. Throw away the key for all I'm concerned.
- Auryn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Our legal system is a joke alright, but not because too many people get slaps on the wrist. Our system is a joke, because they lock up too many people who would be much better suited for a mental hospital, then prison/jail
- Sentry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Maybe he did this on purpose so he can break out later
- Xarou, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yeah, and I know the Pope. Whenever there is a story, SOMEONE knows who it is about. I could be Don Knotts (yes, I know he is dead), Billy Ray Cyrus, Jesus, whathaveyou. I doubt you know him Cyrusdh. You're just another person who is trying to sound cool on the Internet.
- lazlonger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That dude's character made me sick, and now I know why I felt the heebie jeebies when looking at him....
lock him up, if he's found guilty AFTER his fair trail of course. - spz104, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He's only going to break out anyway.
- FishyJoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, he wasn't a star on the show, only a secondary character who is already dead.
- rtakach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1that's really asking a lot of an entertainer.
