- jchang11016, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Judge threw out the 23 day sentence agreement. So Paris must spend 40 days in the Lynwood jail. The only concession he gave was the 5-day credit though she was jail for roughly 3 days.

- bldgbud, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I read the article on this and the Judge is not a happy camper. He did give her 40 days in jail, took off the 3 days already spent and the 1 day at home. They picked her up in a sheriffs car and hand cuffed her and then took her to the court house. He said he was called on Wednesday telling him that she had been released. Another call came in from an "under sheriff" saying he had paperwork about her medical condition and he would send it to the judge. Every few minutes in court today he said "still no paper work yet", then made the comment that our system knows how to care for someone that needs medical help. He also said that he heard her own private head shrink saw her and he believed that lead to her release. Baca has dug himself a deep hole. If this woman has a medical condition where she can't stay in jail to do her time then how on earth can she drink, use drugs, party all the time and that doesn't affect her medical condition. I think this illness is called "I'm toooooo RICH to be around the lower folks in this jail". On the morning show they said that Paris said she wanted to do her time and be an example to younger people. So they asked, what kind of an example is she trying to show..... Oh well, the article said she screamed out when the judge order her back to court and then he asked that the court room be cleared. Two officers took her by the arms and off she went. I admire this judge so much to stick to his guns like he did. From what I've read she was original caught for a DUI and put on 36 month probation, her license revoked and paid $1500. Then she was stopped again with no license and her car was impounded and she was fined. Then the next time she was caught weaving all over the road (drunk) trying to get a late night hamburger. She was then re-arrested for DUI. In my opinion she's had all the chances anyone can get.
