Suddenly Paris Hilton is cool because she can sit on a lounger and say a combination of words - she's an actress, it's her job. It's like watching someone do some killer chess moves, even thought they're all rehearsed and the opponent is just acting out his moves. It doesn't make someone great at chess, just competent at acting.

Those are just some of the basic problems of that plan. While her plan sounds dandy, there is much more complexity than a simple solution such that was presented by Miss Hilton.

I would be surprised if she is actually as dumb as she acts sometimes. She probably also knows that she can't rely on being "hot" for the rest of her life and is building a nice little stash to tide her over until daddy kicks the bucket and she has her inheritance. I wouldn't be shocked if, by the time she inherits the hotel business, she has herself in a position to leave behind her media facing personality and start making decisions regarding the empire.

- have all of the above planned by your agent
- turn up, wear bikini and make-up, remember sections of ad (number of takes)

Easy win for Paris, accommodated by the reptile minds of your average "netizen" ("ooh, she looks good! She hates McCain! She said bitches! She talked fast when talking about energy plan!")

The CNN reporter (I don't remember her name) said even she, with years with CNN could not have done it, and relies on teleprompters in the studio and cards in the field.
