- sarazen, on 10/11/2007, -1/+47O.J. Simpson, the media's new moral compass.
- ViRaZ, on 10/11/2007, -1/+37Sounds like OJ is jealous about Paris going to jail.
- ZogDog, on 10/11/2007, -2/+22O.J. Simpson got away with murder, what did Paris get away with?
- mr.gates, on 10/11/2007, -3/+21I cannot believe that I am about to say this.
I agree with O.J. It is telling of what kind of society America is when no one knows that we sent astronauts into space, yet everyone knows that a snooty talentless bitch went to jail. That the cover of World News holds a grim tale of Americas troubles in Iraq for every country but America. Who has Brittany Spears on the cover. The very fact that I know who Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton and not the names of the brave men that are exploring the boundaries of human achievement is a testament to the fact that American media has let me down.
Its pathetic. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+18Pot, meet kettle...
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+24Please bury this story, neither of them deserves media attention or digg's frontpage.
Thanks - D3koy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+18Is that a black joke?
- dinostabOMG, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15I have to take exception to one of the article's points, though:
FTA: "Earth to OJ: Almost 500 humans have traveled into space. We're over it."
Well, how many have been in jail? - blackbelt88, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10It seems like he's proud of the fact that him murdering his wife got all the attention that it did.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Its a kettle joke...
- Heroville, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9O.J. was a huge celebrity who was accused of brutally murdering his ex-wife and her lover in cold blood. That's a hell of a lot more news worthy than what Paris is going through.
- SenorCardgage74, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Hes a colossal, murderous *****.
He's also absolutely correct. - marm0t, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Its the O.J. Comeback Tour
- TexMachina, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Why the hell is anyone even interviewing that murderous douche-bag?
- Kwipper, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Oh snap. It's on now.
- skyfire1, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Orange Juice!
- Alegoo92, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Personally, I find it painfully frustrating that a man like him can even speak in public. I hate people like him so much.
- spidoman, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4For some strange reason I think OJ may win this one. Even though he's not a violent person...
- josegutz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3OJ just doesn't seem to get it... First he gets the worldwide attention for killing his wife and then getting away with it. Then he goes around Selling Pirated Cable and Satellite boxes, then gets busted, then goes out and writes a book about killing his wife... Then... OH WHAT THE *****!!!
Why can't he just fly off of an upper row balcony from a wheelchair like he used to do...huh? - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2O.J. just found his meal ticket!!! He's going to sue the crap out of TMZ for making this statement:
"In an impromptu interview with Editor & Publisher, self-appointed media critic and murderer O.J. also slams Bill O'Reilly and Nancy Grace as fake news people"
You can't go around calling people a murderer if they were found innocent. TMZ is going down... my guess is that O.J. will go after them with knives. - zombiedepot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It's pretty bad when a murderer has to tell people what's wrong with the news.
- CornStarch, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2OJ did it because his wife was bringing strange men around his kids and doing heroine, Paris drove on that suspended license because she was too self important to mind a judge's verdict for a drunk driving charge.
One is obviously more horrible, but that one also has a better motive (a motive that by all accounts should have landed him in jail). - xGeneric, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Everyone to O.J. -- STFU!
- Nonchalant, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2A few years back, while watching the Hotel Rwanda DVD, I commented to my wife "What in the hell was going on in America at that time that we didn't hear about the Rwandan tribal massacres on the news?"
Care to guess? - dralezero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"..murderer O.J..." There you have it folks.
- mattyz0r, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1OJ Simpson is right that shows and news only care about ratings. Its sad to say that more people care and know about Paris being in jail than whats going on in Darfur.
- astrotrain, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1O.J. Says.... "Now lookie here ...."
- mythosmc, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5uh, whoever wrote that 'we are over it' on space is a douchebag, straight up. OJ might be a scumbag murderer.. but he does have a point!!!!
- so1omon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Wait, is that a heroin reference?
- Platypus3333, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2To be fair, OJ Simpson probably did not exactly want to be so scrutinized when he was driving that Bronco. In fact, I'm sure he would've been very pleased if absolutely noone watched him drive, slowly, away from the scene of the crime. So if this site is trying to imply he's some kind of hypocrite for criticizing THE MEDIA'S choice of subject matter, it's not doing a very good job.
Bear in mind he isn't really criticizing Paris here either. He's criticizing the media- the ones who decide what is "newsworthy." - simplejoe79, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1YEAAAAH.....don't care about either....
- Szandor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Only O.J. could make Paris look like Dorothy Day in comparison.
- cdnbambam, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Yes everyone knows thats a problem, the issue is what kind of moral compass is OJ.
- RawOysters, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2oj continues to prove that he is the biggest ass to ever walk the face of this planet.
- billmill, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1if oj and paris both died tomorrow.. would anyone really care.
- CountC, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1This is too win. Agreed perfectly.
- D3koy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1might?
- razrielle, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3Look he beat the system, Kudos to him, hes living a better life because of the constitution. keep it up O.J.
- Stano, on 10/11/2007, -5/+5God. Somebody just shoot this fool. Ms Hilton may be a bonehead but she's not a homicidal maniac. Simpson killed two people in a pretty heinous way and got off. Hilton screwed up driving on a suspended license and is doing her bit in jail. Now ask me about just and unjust. Hilton deserves to do her jail time and Simpson deserves to be shot. More famous? More infamous O.J. You can't be tried again so cop to the murders like a man, and stay out of the media to give the families of your victims a bit of peace.
- NinjaShini, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Looks like he won! He got you to read it, He got you to think about him for even 20 seconds, even longer if you are posting a reply. I agree that the OJ story was a little more important then, Paris granted someone gets murdered every hour in our country, and someone gets a DUI every 10 minutes, so by ratio OJ's should have been more important.
Atleast OJ played football, and played it well no one can deny that...
Now tell me what exactly Paris has done for Society other then take it down a few pegs and lessin my faith in humanity? - brundlefly76, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1"Like it wasn't when O.J. decided to ride the white Bronco?"
I dont get it - he certainly didnt endorse that coverage either! - MarkOfTheDead, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0i hope he turns them into pez dispensers too.
- stewiesdeuce, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1He's only upset cuz Paris is one blonde he can't take a stab at.
- Szandor, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1I wish I could digg you up more than once.
- mace2, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Well he made fun of O'Reilly... good enough for me for a dig.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2I had a really strange feeling that OJ would get involved in this somehow....
- JohnnyXmas, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Its a sad day in America when Sarah Silverman has the testicular fortitude to talk ***** to a scrawny coke-fiend's face, but an ex-NFL star has to do it form behind closed doors.
Who here wouldn't want to see OJ go nose-to-nose in a screaming match against Paris? I'd pay $7 to see that. I bet she'd turn up "mysteriously" murdered, too. - bemenaker, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1What a douchebag
- benjpw, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2LOL, It's hilarious that everyone reacts to him so much. Who gives a crap - many, many more worse things have happened since that whole mess.
I also feel bad for our media when even tools like OJ realize that its nothing but garbage. - stevealford, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1O.J. was a (former) celebrity who brutally murdered his ex-wife and her lover in cold blood.
There, I fixed it for you. -
