- Lederhosed, on 07/15/2009, -7/+472It looks like he tried to put out the fire by doing dance moves. He was a showman even when getting scalded.
- KrisStrong, on 07/15/2009, -4/+351ALL his hair burned down to his skull!
Someone was holding onto this footage for this long all for a nice paycheck down the road.
Smart move.
I wonder how much they got paid? - CB810, on 07/15/2009, -11/+175That's insane footage...
- scarlettletter, on 07/15/2009, -12/+174OMG! Too much Soul Glow!
- Roguecop, on 07/15/2009, -1/+144Watching that, it is kind of amazing that the burns turned out so serious. By the time the flame actually reached his scalp and he reacts it goes out immediately.
Jackson took all the money he won in the settlement with Pepsi(a mil) and gave it all to the burn victims unit where he was treated which they later named it after him. Now imagine if it was a douche like David Lee Roth or Axel Rose that it happened to, not a chance that any of that money would go to charity. - bigwillystyle, on 07/15/2009, -5/+125was he dancing or trying to get the fire off of himself?
- anotherjack, on 07/15/2009, -1/+95I forgot all about this. It was the exact moment, for me, when the coverage of "jacko" started to sound strange. I think it messed with his head, quite literally. It may be part of why he had so much plastic surgery. Look at his face - he has a nose and everything.
- jts10, on 07/15/2009, -30/+123that's hot
- geoboy, on 07/16/2009, -5/+84He became addicted to pain meds after this incident. This one moment in time changed the rest of his life forever. What an amazing thing to witness. That video gave me chills.
It's too bad Jackson had to die for this video to finally surface. - username7410, on 07/15/2009, -5/+80He didn't realize until the stage hands came at him with fire extinguishers. Creepy footage actually. Sad to think this was the start of a decline that ended with his death.
- sockpuppets, on 07/15/2009, -5/+79Today is the day that starts everyone's decline into death.
- Twirex, on 07/15/2009, -15/+86These sucks comment!
- Totz83, on 07/15/2009, -3/+74He kept on dancing after realizing something was up, you could see him flinching and then doing a twirl
story of his life, tbh - kurupttek, on 07/15/2009, -10/+69That looks BAD!
- alamedaman, on 07/15/2009, -8/+65JAMON
- LokitheComplex, on 07/15/2009, -2/+59Why the music from fora.tv?
- deathsquadx, on 07/15/2009, -8/+61Def: scald
1. To burn with or as if with hot liquid or steam. - borez, on 07/15/2009, -31/+80Yo bro put out your fro.
- Professr, on 07/15/2009, -1/+39Yeah, it's not just a dirty word.
- HomerPimpson4, on 07/16/2009, -0/+36I think it was a little bit of both.
- arizona01, on 07/15/2009, -2/+37They BEAT IT out with their bare hands!
- MWeather, on 07/15/2009, -2/+34It's a word in the English language. It mean's together with, or plus. Like if I had a home office in my living room, it would be my office cum living room. It's equivalent to a /.
- mejf2loy, on 07/16/2009, -0/+31Only MJ could make it look like both.
- ncastellucci, on 07/15/2009, -5/+36Hahaha
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktl6L3ZwvL4 - anotherjack, on 07/15/2009, -3/+32True, it is a word with a long history. I was just thinking today, looking at a menu that described a "hamburger cum fried steak", that this word should perhaps be gently retired. The new meaning greatly supersedes the old Latin definition.
- MScrip, on 07/15/2009, -2/+31That's got to be ***** painful... I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
- hivoltage815, on 07/16/2009, -2/+30I'd like to think I am on ascension until I am 45.
- alamedaman, on 07/15/2009, -1/+27LET YOUR SOUL GLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
- rocknog, on 07/15/2009, -1/+27He was yet another tragic victim of 80s fashion. What a dangerous time to be stylish.
- chaos7, on 07/15/2009, -0/+26maybe he just thought it was heat at first and didn't realize his hair was on fire
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -0/+26And that explains the plastic surgery.
2nd and 3rd degree burns on scalp AND face is no joke! - sockpuppets, on 07/15/2009, -1/+26I hope a ghost feasts on my soul, that sounds exciting.
- Taiyoryu, on 07/15/2009, -4/+28vitiligo
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 07/15/2009, -4/+28Looks like you've matured nicely since 1st grade
- Bekey, on 07/15/2009, -1/+25Wow! He was ON FIRE for a long time!! It's been said that accident was traumatic for him for a long time afterward...now I can see why!
- itsme7g, on 07/16/2009, -1/+23You must be way younger than 45.
- Nidy1, on 07/15/2009, -11/+33Meg your hair's on fire.
- SkippyDoorknob, on 07/15/2009, -1/+22Dangerous even!
- Amplix, on 07/15/2009, -6/+27clearly... you didn't even bother commenting..
Oh wait. - Taquoshi, on 07/16/2009, -1/+22I'm not defending him, 012345678901234, but with the Vitiligio, he'd almost have to use the Hydroquinone because it leaves large pink patches with little or no melanin in the cells. Any lengthy exposure to sunlight would have resulted in a burn. I know someone else who is black who has it and the marks are quite visible. Being an entertainer, he'd have to have a smooth complexion and I am sure you can follow this to the logical conclusion.
- monodelasno, on 07/16/2009, -3/+23Well not to get all pedantic, but if the Soul Glow or Jerrie Curl is what was buring, then technically it was a hot liquid.
- TheAbsintheHare, on 07/16/2009, -1/+20Yep.
Feast < Feaster < Feastest - handheldchimp, on 07/15/2009, -8/+27All he needed to do was just beat it and the fire would have gone out...
- MatchStick, on 07/15/2009, -2/+20i can't see if ur ginger, but you're definitely retarted.
- Roobix, on 07/16/2009, -0/+18Cool story bro.
- had3l, on 07/16/2009, -0/+17The world is thinking
- diemunkiesdie, on 07/15/2009, -10/+26Michael Jackson had vitiligo and lupus. The vitiligo was the cause for his skin appearing bleached. Vitiligo caused some discoloration of his skin, and both diseases made him sensitive to sunlight. The drugs he had to take for treatment accelerated his loss of skin color. He did not bleach his skin.
- faskippy, on 07/16/2009, -1/+17Am I the only one here who remembers seeing the video of this accident right after it happened? My husband remembers it too! I saw this, I tell ya! Years ago.
- JazzCatDRP, on 07/15/2009, -1/+16Not as exciting as when a ghost feastest on your soul though.
- Wareznuke, on 07/16/2009, -0/+14Why did it take almost 26 years to release this footage? Was it withheld until his death for some reason?
