The fact she knows suggests she was involved in her daughter's life instead of just burying her head in hte sand and pretending teenagers DO NOT do this. I was a teenager.. you were a teenager.. things haven't changed that much. - ReverendJon, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1The fact that she allowed it to continue Say's so for one thing. One the other hand she has stated it herself in other reports for another. Then one More revelation is her other young teen-aged daughter being pregnant is a sure clue.
You cannot say from any of the evidence that she actively raised these children just being aware is not the same as doing something about it!
Yes we were all teens however, when I was a teen I may have experimented a little but then my Parent's made a correction in my thinking that said NO to sex and NO to alcohol. You are referring to a person living in denial which more then likely fits the bill for this "Mom". Having children doesn't make you a Mom Or Dad Parenting them does.
To say oh I knew this but I did nothing or I couldn't do anything or even to say they wouldn't listen is no excuse, Parent first friend second, and you pretty much guarantee that your child won't be in this condition as a teen.
So that is how I can say she allowed it! If by chance that I am wrong I know that I'm not far off based on the mother and daughters statements and actions - ReverendJon, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1I bet that most in the world would put this beast of a mother up as mother of the century!
I will also bet that no criminal charges will even be looked at, I also wonder what kind of mother allows her 13 year old access to alcohol and sex.
I agree that this is not newsworthy yet for some reason we still read it!
I suppose I thought there was a story here. - Wizened, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1Why do you consider a mother willing to sell ner child out for monetary gain newsworthy!? Who do you view as your competitor; The National Enquirer? The Sun? Star? US? It's sad to say, but it's getting to the point that I reason I don't go elsewhere is because it's worse there... not better here!
- Jake81499, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1I love ya Fox but this isn't newsworthy. It's a "So What" and may promote more children to loose their virginity at 14 and possibly become pregnant..
- UnFriendlyFire, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1Does this really surprise anyone?
