It's nice that my grandmother was moved in to take care of me instead of an au pair, because having familial ties make you more comfortable with that person. And my parents still did their job as parents, I don't feel like I was neglected or anything just because both of them chose to work 9-5 jobs...I'm not sure why this has to be some sort of negative stereotype or anything, it's what a lot of families do, and I'd say it's better for the child than leaving them with a nanny all day when they're that young. (Not to judge parents that use nannies or anything, I realize not everyone has the same convenience as my family did)

    Every time there's a digg about "New Study finds college girls drink and have sex," the people calling obvious climb out of the woodwork. Everyone knows that's what teenagers do. It's just part of the process. Does everyone do it? No, but a huge amount do.

    Are the girls perfect? Not even ***** close. But thank god my teenage years and embarrassing photos weren't obsessed about by the entire country and the internet tough guys. Everyone has dirt on them. Just be happy yours isn't a national pastime.
