- plaguepony, on 04/14/2009, -1/+70Black Micheal Jackson Kicks ***** Ass.
- ebolaworld, on 04/14/2009, -4/+56Somehow this all made sense back in 1984.
- nytel, on 04/13/2009, -2/+50Pretty damn fresh.
- fanfablebig, on 04/14/2009, -1/+37WOW! Michael Jackson was still black and Carlton was still the same size back in '84
- chocula78, on 04/14/2009, -4/+39Wait, Michael Jackson was black?
- lisalyn, on 04/14/2009, -0/+32This makes me feel old. I remember hoping to see this commercial everyday after school. Yes, somehow this all mattered back then.
- daqq, on 04/14/2009, -0/+26You mean Alfonso Ribeiro. This was 6 years before he became Carlton Banks.
As to where he is now, looks like he's spent a little too much time in Candy Land.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zS1cLOIxsQ8 - acroyear2, on 04/14/2009, -0/+14Why can't we have that Michael back?
- LordRahl72, on 04/14/2009, -0/+14God I feel old. I remember when that was on TV.
- judicar, on 04/14/2009, -1/+14You know 1984 was just an awesome year.
- kellan6, on 04/14/2009, -2/+15funny, but I think I prefer him dancing to Tom Jones thank you very much.
- thesonofdarwin, on 04/14/2009, -1/+13Disney World - TMZ showed him taking his daughter there for vacation this week. There is nothing else on after Sunday midnight, sue me.
- Marvelboy, on 04/14/2009, -0/+12I hear they were simple times.
- inactive, on 04/14/2009, -2/+11I will always love Michael Jackson. He will always be the best.
- nunofgs, on 04/14/2009, -0/+9Hahah perfect fresh prince joke. I could almost hear Will Smith sayin' it.
- geodebug, on 04/14/2009, -0/+8I remember a series of NY riots in 84. The worst was July 19. Over 1000 gang members dressed in colorful leather and spandex closed in on a small Brooklyn neighborhood to throw down. After 10 hours of fresh beats and powerful moves the melee was over. $750 in D-cell batteries were used that day in over-sized boom-boxes. While many gang members got 'schooled' there were no fatalities and only a handful of injuries; the worst being a twisted neck from a unfortunate break-dance head-spin miscalculation.
- djmonarck, on 04/14/2009, -0/+8He's playing the principal on Soulja Boy's animated series. Wish I was joking: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIJd5Qmw4fs#t=3m00s
- robosexy, on 04/14/2009, -0/+8Gangs were so much more fun back then.
- Tsuroerusu, on 04/14/2009, -4/+11It's actually an expression of awe, not fear.
- cmt5061, on 04/14/2009, -1/+8I wonder how many takes of the back to back "bumping" there were...
Michael : "Let's do that shot again! chamonaaaaaaaa" - hackiavelli, on 04/14/2009, -0/+6It's amazing how far he's fallen. For a whole generation Jackson's nothing more than a freakish looking kiddie fiddler. For the children of the 80s he was the (undisputed) King of Pop.
I can't even begin to reconcile the two. On one side Jackson's the man who sold over 100 million records and defined cool for a whole generation and on the other he's a crazed eccentric who looks like a Planet of the Apes extra. I think Robot Chicken might be on to something when they showed him being replaced by an alien in the 90s. - giancarlochoy, on 04/14/2009, -0/+6It sounds like a new costume on a Street Fighter character.
- cheekdog, on 04/14/2009, -0/+6no kidding....i remember when fresh prince first came on the air and everybody looked at carlton and said, "whoa....isn't that the kid from the pepsi commercial?"
- jlan, on 04/14/2009, -0/+6His brilliant career started with hawkin Pepsi, but he didn't stop there! "Tell mom and dad it's the safe way to break and pop!"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sd4C8_FMdjA&fea ... - vonbroner, on 04/14/2009, -0/+5The man did Thriller. THRILLER.
- Shawno1, on 04/14/2009, -0/+5haha that was badass... Michael was kicking ass back then.
- fanfablebig, on 04/14/2009, -0/+5He is where all the sitcom stars go to when they don't have any work. The Game Show Network. Catch 21, yo.
- tangerine, on 04/14/2009, -1/+5Yes. Alfonso Ribeiro. Thank you. Not Carlton.
I logged in just to say that. Thank you for schooling them.
Alfonso released a single around this time:
"Not Too Young (Too Fall In Love)"
Yes I bought the 45rpm. Cannot find it on the internets anywhere.
Would be nostalgic to hear it today. - zjbird, on 04/14/2009, -3/+7Now that Carlton is older, Jackson has lost interest.
- pudly, on 04/14/2009, -0/+4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sd4C8_FMdjA
So much better, Alfonso, you're my hero! - blindmelon1, on 04/14/2009, -3/+6Jackson used to be the *****......my idol in the 80s!
Sad what he did to himself (and others). - slurricaine, on 04/14/2009, -0/+3I remember after this commercial aired that they were saying that Alfonso Ribero broke his neck break dancing in this commercial. Another BS rumor from my younger days.
- sleepy35758, on 04/14/2009, -0/+3Michael has always had a way with young boys
- joe122370, on 04/14/2009, -0/+3had to digg that
- jonglebeats, on 04/14/2009, -1/+3Fresh Prince was awesome.
- spepin, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2I wish posses of dudes still walked down the street handing pop to children.
Sigh. How the times have changed. - Fightermelee, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2No, no no. There's no substance here. You did it all wrong.
- digitul, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2i love how all those guys seem completely unexcited and almost embarassed to be associated with something so ridiculous
- asiarock, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2That boy can dance!!
- digitul, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2he was a dancer before he was an actor. he had instructional videos and everything. thats why they always had little dance segments with him on tfp
- robosexy, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2That sounds awesome.
- Tubal22, on 04/14/2009, -1/+3No doubt. I saw Michael Jackson in the title, but didn't see him in the video.
- smashhell, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2***** he is still my idol now.
Youtube his video everyday ! - cheekdog, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2michael jackson's hair really did catch on fire making another pepsi commercial, though.
- immatellyouwhat, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2It's not unusual...
- daqq, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2Here you go...
http://www.tradebit.com/usr/scheme05/pub/8/alfonso ... - phrenzy, on 04/14/2009, -0/+2LOL I so remember this urban legend. Around the same time as Rod Stewart and his stomach pump.
- yuutokun, on 04/14/2009, -0/+1No Mike don't do it! He's just a boy!
- skenliv, on 04/14/2009, -0/+1Where´s pedobear?
