- withoutamartyr, on 11/28/2008, -3/+101A role that does not require Keanu Reeves to attempt emotion. It's perfect for him.
- CarStan, on 11/28/2008, -3/+73Whoa

- stonebone4, on 11/28/2008, -0/+54Greetings and salutations, most excellent Earthlings! This is a most triumphant planet!
- poidh, on 11/28/2008, -0/+40I would like to see him play the role of Klaatu in the style of Ted "Theodore" Logan.

- vivvivtzz, on 11/28/2008, -0/+21I am an FBI agent!
- induren, on 11/28/2008, -2/+23Danget. You beat me to stating it. My jealousy at you rages unabated.
- awtripp, on 11/28/2008, -0/+21Agreed. I enjoyed watching the Animatrix shorts more than the second and third Matrix movies.
- jsmithers, on 11/28/2008, -1/+21Don't be a *****.
Point Break was excellent.
Yeah. Really. - nunofgs, on 11/28/2008, -1/+21Oh cmon, you loved Bill & Ted.
- m4vi2, on 11/28/2008, -4/+24You know...Keanu gets a lot of ***** for his bad acting skills, but he's actually in a lot of bad ass movies. Point Break, Constantine, and of course The Matrix were all fantastic movies.
...well ok not so much Point Break. Bill and Ted? - techobo, on 11/28/2008, -0/+19I like Keanu Reeves. He grew up down the street from me, and played hockey at my local park. It seems like he's still a normal dude. Gotta respect that when you look at the other trainwrecks in Hollywood.
- inactive, on 11/28/2008, -4/+23I know kung-fu
- schizogony, on 11/28/2008, -0/+18Excellent!
- stonebone4, on 11/28/2008, -0/+16I really did not expect to love the Animatrix as much as I did. It was a nice surprise.
- kaffelars, on 11/28/2008, -1/+16Most of the actors in A Scanner Darkly do their jobs very well, indeed including Reeves. A great movie!
- stonebone4, on 11/28/2008, -4/+18He's actually a good actor if you give him a chance. He was great in A Scanner Darkly.
- plr4ever, on 11/28/2008, -6/+19The only reason i am considering seeing this movie is because Keanu Reeves was only good in the Matrix, and this looks Matrixy.
- hfactor, on 11/28/2008, -2/+12We all did.
- withoutamartyr, on 11/28/2008, -1/+10I dugg you because you said unabated and it made me giggle.
- guardianx, on 11/28/2008, -2/+11where is the Matrix pre-quel?
- Gnarstache, on 11/28/2008, -0/+9Keanu Barada Nikto....RUUUUFUS whoa!
- ronin4740, on 11/28/2008, -1/+10The original The Day the Earth Stood Still is arguably the best movie ever made in its Genre and should NEVER have been remade.
- Stemnin, on 11/28/2008, -0/+8Show me.
- Chairboy, on 11/28/2008, -0/+8When they see it in the theater, how many people will hear 'Klaatu Barrada Nikto' and say "They ripped that off from Army of Darkness"?
- antistupid, on 11/28/2008, -1/+9ARRRGGGHHH!!
::shoots pointlessly into the sky:: - mattyboy555, on 11/28/2008, -0/+6I didnt know this was already posted :(
I deserve the buries - skinny01, on 11/28/2008, -0/+6He was good in "The Gift". He played a drunk redneck wifebeater, something you would never expect from him but he did it very well, I was surprised and give him more respect after seeing that role.
- Mo0man, on 11/28/2008, -1/+7WAAAAAA
*Fires gun wildly into the air - ElGubrush, on 11/28/2008, -1/+7I gotta say, despite everyone in comments ripping on him, from the interview he seems like a pretty likeable guy.
Not a lot of facial expressions, but he's good at the roles he gets. - Stemnin, on 11/28/2008, -0/+5Klaatu. .. Verada. .. Necktie...Nectar...Nickel...It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word.
- thcobbs, on 11/28/2008, -0/+5Well, considering your porn tastes Greyscale... I'm not surprised.
- fety, on 11/28/2008, -1/+6no, seriously?
...did your bipolarism kick or something? you replied to yourself. - inactive, on 11/28/2008, -0/+5Your Planet?
- Sherman901, on 11/28/2008, -0/+4bill & ted = amazingness
- SenorBudd, on 11/28/2008, -1/+5And the article also mentioned my other favorites, A Scanner Darkly (with Robert Downey Jr) and Constantine. I also have a soft spot for his earlier work in River's Edge (with Crispin Glover).
Keanu has a knack for picking the right kind of movie in the sci-fi genre. So I might have to check out TDtEST even though it won't compare to the classic. - roddack, on 11/28/2008, -0/+4for life before being unplugged
just watch Office Space. - jggr, on 11/28/2008, -1/+4He's one of my favourite actors. I personally think he's very talented. The thing (imho) which causes people to not like him is that he just looks, um, simple. Those big eyes have trouble conveying the range of emotion his roles sometimes call for. So, it's not skill, but genetics.
/Also, as much as My Own Private Idaho ***** me up (watched it when I was very young), it is a very good movie. - inactive, on 11/28/2008, -0/+3Silly Earthlings. I was able to successfully digg him up FOUR times.
- inactive, on 11/28/2008, -0/+3*Praying Mantis*
- Albear89, on 11/28/2008, -0/+3agreed
- TheAtomicMoose, on 11/28/2008, -0/+3stop trying to klaatu, and klaatu!
- stormofswords, on 11/28/2008, -0/+2oh, it was naggers.
- PixelD, on 11/28/2008, -0/+2Think he meant that behind The Matrix that Speed was his 2nd best film.
- cheekdog, on 11/28/2008, -0/+2i would digg you twice if i could.
- Ockniel, on 11/28/2008, -1/+3"That's how he thinks at the outset, but Klaatu discovers his humanity during the film - that is the journey for him," says Reeves. "So I played him as a man who has an alien inside him, but he is embodied by human flesh and that changes him. I picture the human body as a kind of container for him. It was funny - because of the way I was playing him, I didn't have a lot of facial cues, so when I was thinking about the character, I'd just look at people and I would answer them, but I wouldn't do anything with my face. I realised that it was a little off-putting so when we weren't shooting, I had to remember to smile. I enjoyed it a lot."
If this doesn't sum up keanu reeves' acting, nothing will. -
