He was a commercial artist for Paramount Pictures during World War I and could crank out these lobby cards at the rate of 6 to 8 a week.He would create the lobby cards for all the movies debuting in San Francisco. This work was that of Katharine Hepburn from the 1933 movie “Morning Glory."
