- Maxwell1234, on 05/26/2009, -0/+6Nas is still relevant... Jay Z should stayed retired.
- inactive, on 05/26/2009, -2/+6DID THE RETARD ESCAPE?
- playuhh, on 05/26/2009, -0/+4I doubt 40 has a problem with it though. They both get their money and have other things to worry about. Plus he's probably releasing the Dictionary Book of Slang on a larger scale soon... hopefully! I'm sure it'd be a good read.
- TruthKid, on 05/26/2009, -0/+4So uh...who do you think is buying all them cds?
- colasrtney, on 05/26/2009, -0/+4This is relevant to my interests. -_-
- werkerholic, on 05/26/2009, -0/+4So insightful!
- Rethcir, on 05/26/2009, -0/+4Does it affect it? Dork.
- formfactor, on 05/26/2009, -0/+3I don't know why they buried you. Maybe you should have gone with "I for one welcome our big lipped overlord".
- IvanB, on 05/26/2009, -2/+5If they come back delivering good material, then I don't mind.
- SparkKnot, on 05/26/2009, -0/+3Nas... good times, good times
- purpled1, on 05/26/2009, -2/+5jay z got owned so hard in that song
- MikeOSX, on 05/26/2009, -2/+5Yeah but then a couple of years later, Jay was signing his checks.

- slyzxx, on 05/26/2009, -0/+2That link is lame just gives u a short paragraph then sends u here
http://pitchfork.com/news/35401-jay-z-leaves-def-j ... - playuhh, on 05/26/2009, -0/+2Many years down the road comes a great song... organ gets me every time:
Success : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkYZHnMQQhk - staticfire, on 05/26/2009, -0/+2Nas is one of if not the best lyricist ever.
Jay-Z may have more money but that's because he makes watered down radio rap, and appeals to a less intelligent audience. I like Jay-Z, just saying Nas is better. - Hetman, on 05/26/2009, -7/+9I do not support any band/musician that fake retires. Be it the rolling stones or Jay Z. I am done buying tix or your albums. You should have not decided to retire if you planned on touring and releasing albums. I am looking at the rolling stones here. How many retirement tours can one band have?
- playuhh, on 05/26/2009, -0/+2Lol then why mention it? Digg does not revolve around you.
Plus obviously it has *affected* your world because you
bothered to comment about it. Therefore, you are a *****. - werkerholic, on 05/27/2009, -0/+2.....and you potna, just blow.
- werkerholic, on 05/26/2009, -0/+2ur mom said the same
- sadchild, on 05/28/2009, -0/+1review of Jay-Z's "Ain't No *****"
The latest trend in rap music seems to be girls singing about how their man sleeps around, and how these ladies don't have a problem with that. "Ain't No *****" goes into great detail about a guy, the woman who calls herself "his wife," and their relationship, which mainly consists of making big money purchases, wearing fashionable clothing and a having whole lot of sex – sometimes even with each other....

- spoonchucks, on 05/27/2009, -0/+1*mediocrity (*****!)
- KevinRosa, on 05/26/2009, -0/+1word!
I'm so hip ^_^ - colasrtney, on 05/26/2009, -0/+1Someone's never listened to any mathrap.
- seroevo, on 05/27/2009, -1/+2You're talking about semantics in relation to a pro athlete and a hip hop pop star. Think about that.
- spoonchucks, on 05/26/2009, -1/+2IMO, Black Album was so-so at best...
Jay Z is the poster child for my theory that rappers need to drop one or two albums at most, and then GTFO... Anything more is guaranteed to lead to meteocrity and embarrassment. :(
With very few exceptions, that theory seems to be pretty damn accurate. - staticfire, on 05/26/2009, -0/+1I use to think like you, before I actually listened to Rap music. It was the result of my parents racist brainwashing.
Give a decent rapper a listen sometime and try to enjoy it, and I bet you will. - allisonaxe, on 05/27/2009, -1/+1and nothing of value was lost.
- charbo187, on 05/26/2009, -1/+1give me one good reason why Tupac was overrated.
- IvanB, on 05/26/2009, -2/+2Well if he's coming out with a new record, obviously he's not. Then again, he would easily have the money to do it. :o
- urs74, on 05/26/2009, -1/+1Biggie
- chamorro, on 05/27/2009, -1/+0He just wants more time to tap that Beyonce @#$.
- petebot, on 05/26/2009, -2/+1whoa...weird
- Hetman, on 05/26/2009, -6/+5I do not like cheap marketing stunts. Therfor I do not care how good there music is. I will dload it illegally and not go to there shows.
- yeeaauuh, on 05/27/2009, -3/+2Not sure who's more annoying with their "I'm retired, nah, I change my mind, Im not retired" announcements. Jay Z or Brett Farve. You'll always be "that other dude" in Biggie's videos to me Jay.
