After that, it was tribal tattoos (this was way before they were a stupid fad) and in my 30s, I wanted to get a cycling related tat on my calf.

the same thing goes with gauging one's ears as a teen. In 10 years that person is going to look retarded. To each his own, but do look ahead a bit where it wont be a detriment.
