- LifeguardMom, on 02/04/2008, -0/+4Heath Ledger, River Phoenix, John Belushi, John Candy, Chris Farley, and now Britney Spears following on their heels....... just a fulfillment of the Scripture that Jesus spoke, "what does it profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his own soul?". Fame is fleeting and will not bring peace and content to your life. Just look at where Spears is now. She's had a nervous breakdown because of the demands of Hollywood life.
Hollywood is not a fairytale land or a place where dreams come true. It is a business machine that uses you up and spits you out when it's done.
