Most of the changes testosterone would cause are not reversible. Electrolysis can eliminate unwanted hair, but a masculinized skeletal structure and deeper voice can't be changed.
Some trans women are never able to fully hide physical evidence of having undergone male puberty, and as a result they are extremely vulnerable to public harassment, humiliation and potential violence, and discrimination in employment, housing and services. They will never have the option of fading into a crowd - they will always be visibly trans, and they will get constant ***** for it for the rest of their lives.

I can understand someone not wanting to be male or female, or just feeling like they are the supposed to be the opposite sex. But I just can't get around the genetics. In my mind, chopping off a penis and turning it inside out, while changing their hormone levels, doesn't make someone a woman.
I don't dislike transgender people. I think they are generally good people that want something different that what they have. There is nothing wrong with this. I just don't know if I can ever really convince myself that just because this person standing infront of me calls themselves a woman, that means that they are.
