- paradisetonight, on 07/08/2009, -6/+184although, this is true, look at the press, they condemned michael jackson to hell for the past decade and now you cant get any other coverage but talks about his great life. if thats not enough, look at society in general, no one had anything good to say about MJ but now everyone is his biggest fans. the crowds, the press, everyone is fickle. mj died and the vultures have come out to make some money, nothing else, thats the same ***** geraldo is doing here.
- Hetman, on 07/08/2009, -5/+88He is right. When is the last time any of these people even thought about MJ before he died.
- TimBuc1, on 07/08/2009, -22/+95Geraldo is just angry because he never had the chance to give Michael a mustache ride
- inactive, on 07/09/2009, -7/+55I think Geraldo's concern is as empty as Al Capones vault
- solboldi, on 07/09/2009, -1/+39Yeah, because celebs never miss an opportunity to promote themselves. As long as the cameras are rolling and there is a large audience, of course they will be there.
They are self-promoters and manipulators. - SoCalCove, on 07/09/2009, -10/+42Whether you like or dislike MJ as a person, you can still respect him for what he accomplished.
For many entertainers and celebrities, whether they stood by him or not, it still means something to respect a person / peer. - pktgumby, on 07/09/2009, -2/+29Remember when the Salvation Army was invading Neverland and Geraldo totally went on the air and broadcast their location?
Wait....what? - Xihix, on 07/09/2009, -3/+30So true man. Make him miserable when he was alive, and now care that he died? Terrible.
- sockpuppets, on 07/09/2009, -5/+29Puberty is like kryptonite to Michael Jackson.
- sindex, on 07/09/2009, -5/+28I had plenty of nice things to say about that freak. Regardless of any of this actions, or the largely baseless accusations lobbed at him, you can never take away the sheer awesomeness of the Thriller album.
- captainquack, on 07/09/2009, -1/+19Isn't that part of being a celebrity?
- merreborn, on 07/09/2009, -1/+19"look at society in general, no one had anything good to say about MJ but now everyone is his biggest fans"
I think we're all just glad that the crazy ***** is over, and we can just stick to remembering the good parts.
I think that's pretty common, when it comes to ANYONE's death (with rare exceptions). You remember the good, and try to forget the bad. 'Cause what's the point of holding grudges against the dead? - PhillyOC, on 07/09/2009, -3/+20You have to admit, even if you think someone may be innocent, the nature of people's attitudes towards child molesters is very hard to come out against. Nobody in Hollywood most certainly would dare to be involved, even if it only had a slim chance of being true.
- inactive, on 07/08/2009, -1/+16Sorta. Most of the people attending are fans and if you remember the last trial, there were alot of fans showing support outside the courthouse. Now you wont get fans to travel thousands of miles (coast to coast) to show up for the trial, but for the funeral? Yeah, I can see that.
Personally, for me, its impossible for me to support such a person when his life was tainted with so much crazy. - AnonBuffalo, on 07/09/2009, -22/+35Buried because it is another Michael Jackson story.
- smacksaw, on 07/09/2009, -1/+14They're all like Joe Jackson, talking about his record label during interviews about MJ's death.
I made it a point not to watch the memorial as I could not abide seeing such fairweather friends "honouring" him. - PhillyOC, on 07/09/2009, -3/+16Too old.
- rocknog, on 07/09/2009, -0/+12Imagine Michael Jackson's life as a pig. Now, while the pig is alive, you have to deal with the whole animal and everything it does, and maybe you don't like pigs. Maybe you think they're disgusting and you certainly wouldn't want one in your apartment because it'd trash the place. However, once the pig is dead, you are free to cut out the most delicious parts and make bacon and dispose of the rest. Likewise, now that he's dead, we don't have to deal with the less savory aspects of his life, and can focus only on what we liked.
- BusterStacks, on 07/09/2009, -10/+21Geraldo is a sensationalist retard. He does, however, make a good point here.
- MikeOxbigg, on 07/09/2009, -2/+13http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVACUjHn6yU
- merreborn, on 07/09/2009, -1/+11Ironically, isn't Geraldo pretty much doing the same thing?
Exploiting MJ's death for media exposure? - nimr0d44, on 07/09/2009, -1/+11***** brilliant.
- totallyRo, on 07/09/2009, -1/+11wait what.. salvation army.. invading?
- dafragsta, on 07/09/2009, -6/+15Obvious troll is obvious.
- oda1, on 07/09/2009, -1/+9I respect Geraldo for have the stones to say this. He's absolutely right. MJ's memorial was a joke. All this phonies came out to honor his life; where were they when MJ was alive and well?
phonies, phonies, phonies. - Kakumeikeahi, on 07/09/2009, -0/+8Yup, he's still dead.
- pktgumby, on 07/09/2009, -1/+8"He had so much potential to blossom into a gracious and mature human being. As it is, the world will never know the genius Michael Jackson might have become had he grown up."
--Jermaine Jackson on Michael Jackson, via the Onion - maz2331, on 07/09/2009, -0/+7We generally try to not speak ill of the dead. Outside of a real bastard who murders dozens of people, it's generally polite to let the "sins" be buried with the body, and remember only the positives.
As an agnostic, my definition of "Hell" is that people remember you in a very negative light, and "Heaven" is being thought of fondly after your death. I may never experience it, but do hope that others think of my life and acts in a positive way when I am no longer around.
Who am I kidding? I'm on Digg and will just be tossed in a dumpster. - cfuse, on 07/09/2009, -0/+7Michael Jackson - the other white meat.
- catfish182, on 07/09/2009, -0/+7wait until the dead rise THEN you will want to remember those grudges
- evanfrey, on 07/09/2009, -3/+9Did Geraldo stand by him, or is he just the voice of hypocrisy?
- joe122370, on 07/09/2009, -2/+8they say his death could have been an allergic reaction to 7 yr old nuts
- ParticleMan420, on 07/09/2009, -1/+7like christianity!
- thizzlebot, on 07/09/2009, -2/+7Actually he wasnt, he was aquitted of the charges and the "parent" of the kid just wanted to get easy money because he is a stupid ***** so he would make outrageous claims. The parent described the court case as a win-win situation. Does that sound like the parent of a molested child?
- inactive, on 07/09/2009, -3/+8Kolop1 is a pedophile, guys. He molested my best friend's son. Everyone believe it because I said so.
- smacksaw, on 07/09/2009, -2/+7It's not hard to ask for the justice system to run it's course. I thought he was pretty strange, but I was never ready to convict him of molesting that boy, and a jury did not convict him of it, either.
- oda1, on 07/09/2009, -0/+5His message was pretty exaggerated... I mean, he pretty much credited MJ for ending slavery.
- scoottie, on 07/09/2009, -2/+7He is right
- Newscast, on 07/09/2009, -1/+6Wow... this is the first time I actually agree with something from Fox news.
People abandoned him when it was bad PR but now that it's the in thing, they all flock to him. It's sick but unfortunately, it's how people are. - joshuaer, on 07/09/2009, -0/+5I liked his older music when i was young, have not listened to any thing after that. I do not hate the guy and do not like the guy. I think society in general really does not care either way.

- yacks, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4and the biggest one of all was there and spoke.. Al Sharpton.. who of course used his turn up on the mic as a chance to spew his message of race.
- scuba7183, on 07/09/2009, -1/+5Someone explain to us slower people
- TylerDuhrdan, on 07/09/2009, -1/+5Buried for being about Micheal Jackson, and on the front page.
- iskin, on 07/09/2009, -2/+6Kolop1 molested my 11 year old cousin last week.
- alais, on 07/09/2009, -1/+5Actually he is, he's calling them out, he never said he was one of them.
- villainousT, on 07/09/2009, -1/+5dugg for bacon
- YellowSnowDemon, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4As a Spanish Jew, I'm offended.
- solid12345, on 07/09/2009, -1/+5@peters, no there was only one other boy. And what molested victim would take money and run, as if money would make being raped easier.
- IllBeBack, on 07/09/2009, -2/+6Geraldo - trying desperately to stay relevant in a world in which he has been irrelevant for the past 15 years.
