- holzp, on 06/25/2009, -18/+241She will still live forever on my wall.
- TwistyMcFister, on 06/25/2009, -19/+204RIP Farrah

- RegularUser, on 06/25/2009, -8/+151Cancer sucks.
- bobartig, on 06/25/2009, -4/+108"Fawcett, who checked into a hospital in early April, had been battling anal cancer on and off for three years."
*****, anal cancer??? I've heard of colon cancer, and rectal cancer, and even colorectal cancer, but now I have to worry about anal as well? Damnit! - King0007, on 06/25/2009, -12/+105All the money in the world can not stop cancer. It is sad. And only 62.....this really is sad. I worshiped that poster.
http://graneyandthepig.files.wordpress.com/2009/04 ... - Amadeus2490, on 06/25/2009, -1/+91I know it's PC of me, but I actually find the caps-locked "DEAD" thing kind of offensive.

Goodbye, Farrah. - DirtyVicar, on 06/25/2009, -1/+76Yeah, cancer doesn't even give a person any dignity. ***** cancer.
- pegothejerk, on 06/25/2009, -1/+74Look out if you are an older celeb with a name starting with the letter "G".
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -0/+66George Foreman..... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
- IgorUnchained, on 06/25/2009, -7/+64I understand when people dont see the point in mourning a dead celebrity, but for me, Farrah was an icon. I was just a kid when Charlies Angels was on TV, but she was a figure of beauty that was unmatched in the time and rarely seen since.
She was the poster queen back before "sexy girl posters" were really around (pin ups and Betty Page were novelty...not industry).
How can anyone deny "The Farrah" hairdo was HUGE for a decade. I got sick of seeing that Jennifer Anniston friends 'do......but that still only lasted 5 at the most.
Naysay if you will, but I will miss Farrah. - monodelasno, on 06/25/2009, -1/+51Wow, I'm betting she appreciated that.
- realmadrid2727, on 06/25/2009, -0/+38Diana was alive before she died? Really?
- jmferris, on 06/25/2009, -13/+48Well, it would have been a lie if the OP said "Farah Fawcett Alive at 62".
- TwistyMcFister, on 06/25/2009, -22/+54FTA: Fawcett was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, in 1942.
pretty sure it was 1947, which is why she is 62 - Namakemono, on 06/25/2009, -3/+34Stains and all? Too early?
- bwinebarger, on 06/25/2009, -43/+74Sad.
- temporaryescape, on 06/25/2009, -5/+35She was running for a while in my bathroom... but apparently someone came along and turned off the fawcett.
- lovernotfighter, on 06/25/2009, -3/+29Celebrities touch more people's lives than non-celebrities. Fact of life.
- BubbaBubberson, on 06/25/2009, -1/+25Michael Jackson just had a heart attack. Remember, these always come in threes.
- dronkmunk, on 06/25/2009, -3/+27She did have a killer ass...
- minnecrapolis, on 06/25/2009, -0/+23GARY BUSEY!
- Dagreenman, on 06/25/2009, -24/+45***** hell. First Ed, and now Farah. This is a terrible week.
- sleestakslayer, on 06/25/2009, -0/+21I guess we should just assume that every freaking body part is prone to some sort of cancer. Sucks.
- Davethe3rd, on 06/25/2009, -0/+20Arrrrghhh...
- 11oops, on 06/25/2009, -7/+26Not to sound unsympathetic, but this is no more or less a tragedy than the thousands of others that die of cancer every day. She was no more or less deserving of death than anyone else who will pass away today, be it from cancer or otherwise. Celebrities should not stand on a pedestal above the rest of us just because their name is more recognizable.
The fact that there is not yet a cure or reliable treatment for cancer is the only tragedy here. - ichbeineinrcg, on 06/25/2009, -0/+19He's that guy who died a few days before Heath Ledger.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -7/+25Because no one knows who John Doe is.
- AlanYuri, on 06/25/2009, -6/+24hey jackass, people are expressing their condolences, not need to bash them simply because they didn't bother to write out a ***** essay on the matter.
- VociferUnbanned, on 06/25/2009, -1/+18that's not PC. It's common sense/courtesy.
- greenlight2001, on 06/25/2009, -1/+18Vast majority of anal cancers are caused by HPV.
- boozedrinker, on 06/25/2009, -3/+19My dad has cancer...so it is with GREAT CONVICTION that I say: ***** CANCER.
- knobbysideup, on 06/25/2009, -0/+16No. It's not. I never cared much for patients, one way or the other. But my mom is now being treated for lymphoma. It's a horrible thing to go through for her and the entire family. The treatment is seriously unpleasant. Starting with the tubes running down through her skull into her spine, and another in her neck, and one in her chest. And that's not the worst part of the pain. Then there is the financial problems incurred by the joke that is our healthcare system. If the disease doesn't kill you, your life is pretty much over anyway, unless you are independently wealthy.
- HentaiJeff, on 06/25/2009, -3/+19Who's Brad Renfro?
- sdigroup, on 06/25/2009, -0/+16You can add jackson to the list
- realmadrid2727, on 06/25/2009, -2/+17Anal cancer really sucks.
- trizzleatl, on 06/26/2009, -0/+15Man, that sucks... she was such a OMG MICHAEL JACKSON DIED *leaves*
- zip000, on 06/25/2009, -0/+14John Gotti died of neck cancer. I mean, I've heard of mouth cancer, brain cancer, and even throat cancer, but that was the first time I ever heard of neck cancer.
- dronkmunk, on 06/25/2009, -0/+14That's creepy. Because Before those two was David.
o_O - Akairenn, on 06/25/2009, -4/+18Farrah Fawcett is DEAD!!
You gain 42 experience points!
Congratulations! You are now level 2!
Your stats increase by 7 hp, 3 mana, 5 moves.
You gain three practices.
You see nothing in the corpse of Farrah Fawcett.
I'm aware that I'm going to hell, but the capitalized 'DEAD' immediately conjured nostalgia about MUDs from last century. :p - Leo21k, on 06/25/2009, -2/+16Yes, because I was actually aware of the celebs existence and that makes it slightly more personal.
I know absolutely nothing about those other people who died. - lambchoppe, on 06/25/2009, -0/+14Girls don't poop, its a fact.
- Arlieth, on 06/25/2009, -0/+13And he just died.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -0/+12Michael Jackson was from Gary, Indiana. Prophecy complete.
- twiztidsinz, on 06/25/2009, -1/+13Wow... at the time of writing this post, apparently 21 people can't do basic math...

Born Ferrah Leni Fawcett
February 2, 1947(1947-02-02)
Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
Died June 25, 2009 (aged 62)
Santa Monica, California, USA - Wuss, on 06/25/2009, -6/+18I agree. It's annoying when people paint her as being "brave" through her ordeal. Why was she brave? She was rich, and spent as much money as she could trying to beat her disease. She was obviously scared like hell of aging and death. Last time I checked, bravery doesn't mean doing everything in your means to cheat death. There's a lot of cancer patients out there without 1/10th of the resources of a self absorbed celebrity that work through their ordeal with a lot more REAL bravery.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -0/+11Gary Coleman?!
Whatcha talking 'bout Willis? - CoreyTamas, on 06/25/2009, -2/+13Yeah, very funny Beavis.
- lroche, on 06/25/2009, -15/+26She waged a tough fight and is in no more pain. RIP.
