- BrownBoognish, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4The climbing out of the abused public toilet is the best, followed by Begbie throwing his pint glass and destroying a pool table, and Spud ***** the bed. Hilarious.
- fluidfoundation, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12judging by his comment at the bottom, I dont think thats wat he meant at all.
- BrownBoognish, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1No kidding, how could he regret being in those cinematic masterpeices? Best scripts ever!
- Happy_Phantom, on 10/10/2007, -5/+29In any case, I regret watching the latest trilogy.
- airencracken, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Damn you Lucas. Why did you make them suck so hard?
- mountaincable, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Han shot first...
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -0/+6Well, McGregor was badass in all of them, at least.
- kenok, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1No! Darth Maul still pwns Obi Wan.
- xike, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1"Well Mark Hamill couldn't act and the last 3 were good. This time let's have bad actors for Anakin AND have an annoying CGI character AND have giant gaps in the plot. What can go wrong?"
- airencracken, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Damn you Lucas. Why did you make them suck so hard?
- seanthebond, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17I think that they kind of twisted what he said. The quote at the bottom says he liked Star Wars the least, it did not say he regretted it.
- blitzer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Dugg Down. Not a direct quote.. then twisted...
Even if he felt that way.. he would never say it. - mpolanco90, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3well the latest trilogy was bad
- TheLoneWolf071, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16I think we all regret "Star Wars" I-III
- Bricks, on 10/10/2007, -6/+4It twisted what he said? do not want.
he is great member of the Presbyterian church who brought the Milky Way peace in The backstroke of the west- fixty, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3??? I have no idea wtf you mean by that, yet I feel strangely compelled to agree...
- Bricks, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1the google spiders don't bite, I promise.
"backstroke of the west"

- BrownBoognish, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3He should regret having been in those steaming piles.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" - noobeffect, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Eh, he and Samuel L. Jackson were the only reasons to give episodes 1-3 any respect. (In terms of actors that appeared in the first 3 episodes)
- theholyraptor, on 04/07/2008, -2/+4I don't know about acting IN EP I-III, but Natalie Portman is an amazing actress and damn hot too.
- sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1For me to poop on.
- Gerz1219, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Natalie Portman is a very talented actress, but she gives a horrible performance in the prequels, largely because she couldn't conceal her boredom with the green screen filming and her contempt for the weak script.
- phuibonhoa, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5You forgot Ian McDiarmid who is awesome as the emperor in all the star wars movies.
Liam Neeson was cool in ep 1 too- noobeffect, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'm sorry, I meant to say "In terms of actors that appeared in ALL the first 3 episodes" But, absolutely, Liam Neeson was definitely a prime reason to respect episode 1.
- seanthebond, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yeah, I loved Neeson in that film.
- theholyraptor, on 04/07/2008, -2/+4I don't know about acting IN EP I-III, but Natalie Portman is an amazing actress and damn hot too.
- PATSCRU, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Commence flame war....NOW!
- AlexaMartina, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
- Sp4nk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5*****. I'm sure he "regrets" the money he made from those movies, too.
- mountaincable, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1RTFA
- Sp4nk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I did read the article, moron.
- mountaincable, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1RTFA
- danconia, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6IMO Ewan McGregor was the only thing keeping keeping the prequels from completely falling apart. Portman was given ridiculous lines so who else was supposed to prop up the series? Hayden Christianson?
- dys2k7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1yup Obiwan was the only character true to the starwars orignal trilogy spirit.
- terminal157, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Buried for being mildly inaccurate and having less information in the article than there is in the story description.
- ahuxley, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3He was great in Eye of the Beholder. That was a hard movie to make. Make more quality, less dumbed-down, corporatized up slop.
- Imus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1That movie was an absolute mess.
- Xinareiaz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6wow, you call that an article?
- leontes, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3And so did Alec Guinness. Use the poetic justice, Luke.
- CaptShmo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5DO NOT WANT!
- Calypsoaf, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3I buried this because...
- Calypsoaf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3...I had to read each page...
- Calypsoaf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2...like this, and...
- supermajic, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1someone saying they didn't like something at the time doesn't mean they regret doing it.
star wars I-III sucked balls anyway.
- r2pro, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2He's just saying that he least enjoyed working on Star Wars. Which is easy to understand given that it's very difficult to act in an aircraft hangar with nothing but a green screen and conversing with characters who will be put in later. Plus all of the secrecy, etc, etc I'm sure as far as acting gigs go doing a SW flick is not very fun at all. Still, he got to play Obi Wan freakin' Kenobi, which I am sure that nearly every guy on Digg would give their right nut to do.
- AzrimEkim, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0I'd be a lot more excited about reading the actual interview, rather than a second-hand account of it. And yes, I agree that they twisted his words around.
- thehead21, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Where did he say that? It said he liked it least, nothing about regretting it? Its a distorted headline just to get Diggs. Bury it!
- Synapse84, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2hmmm wonder why he would regret star wars besides 1->3 being the worst Star Wars...
maybe it's because of his lisp mentioned in:

j/k. Ewan McGregor is an awesome actor. - jameson71, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Top reporting there. All the supporting details and critical analysis regarding the title really puts it over the top.
- kashi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I bet he liked the paycheck though.
- peterinjapan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Remember that British actors seemingly have to be stuck-up about American productions (and money) when being interviewed for British publications. Patrick Stewart once really went to down on the American system for its greed and worship of money. Patently ridiculous since he gets millions for each film. I take it with a grain of salt -- I mean, I have an idealistic side that also has to work within the framework of my life (i.e. I want to own a house, have a 401(k), therefore I need money to do this).
I am more offended when I read that right after Natalie Portman got the Amidala part, she went home and rented Star Wars to see what the movies were all about. BIATCH! You have to have already seen them or you don't get to act in them. - JKozma37, on 10/31/2007, -0/+0This story is coming from a kid that a writer can change the words to make it seem that he doesn't like the Star Wars films. Its been 2 months since this story come out, does he know that this story is out and will he rebut it.
