I'm an American and went to Germany. Once I got off the subway I noticed an ad with a fully naked chick dousing herself in milk. It was a "Got Milk?" ad. I did not see a huge group of men around the picture tittilated by what they saw.
I think the line from Eurotrip is necessary here... "You know that America was founded by a bunch of prudes, right?"
Oh and at the local swimming pool a lot of women would go topless and I didn't see a lot of men staring. I think since they grow up with naked bodies it is less "horrifying" for them than us. We just believe that nudity is wrong and thus shouldn't be condoned. The problem is that we are all naked underneath. We see them the day we are born, and feed off them. We all even have nipples, even though guys nipples usually have more hair around them and not as much "fat". Heck there is even nude news in some countries.
So why is it, in America, that from age X (insert day mom stopped undressing around you) to 18 you are forbidden from seeing them again? Is a breast really worse than a nude butt that you can see on prime time TV? We get to see Dennis Franz ugly butt, but 1/2 a second of 1/2 a sexy nipple is too much?

Then why don't you censor violence while your at it. We certainly don't want our kids exposed to guns, killing, and fighting because you know they may start fights in school or bring guns and knives and *****. Lets censor mature programs too like Sex in the City because someone's kid may watch it. Why do have to censor just sex? Is nudity so evil that you would rather have your kids look at killing and destruction than a half-naked woman? In fact why don't we have nothing but kid's shows and kid's advertisement so they can never be influenced and it would be less work for us because who wants to be responsible for raising their own kids and teaching them the difference between right and wrong.

If you let them be something of a mystery and hard to find (in real life -- porn surfing doesn't count) then they become more appealing.
