- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -1/+247Dr. Pepper has more medical training than this charlatan
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -3/+198Here comes the "I just play one on TV" defense.
- notque, on 01/18/2008, -2/+124I hate that guy. Smarmy *****.
- Nomadelle, on 01/18/2008, -3/+101Not surprised!
- vofuse, on 01/18/2008, -6/+89He should've left Britney alone.
- protogenxl, on 01/18/2008, -1/+78California Don't Stop there get Doctor Laura too!
- neognostic, on 01/18/2008, -5/+63As I have said before, he looks like dick with ears............
- smacksaw, on 01/18/2008, -2/+56It also has far less fat.
- dotlizard, on 01/18/2008, -1/+52he should probably go ahead and admit he only went to visit Britney to get her to do his show. sure it makes him look like a real *****, but what's worse -- looking like a sleazy publicity hound, or looking like a felon while doing the perp walk?
- iching, on 01/18/2008, -1/+51As Dr. Phil said
"You don't need a sense of moral decency to wish I would shut up." - Pilot85, on 01/18/2008, -1/+45Why yes, he did.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_T._Pepper - meshman, on 01/18/2008, -1/+39This is just another guy who makes his riches off other people's misery. Really, all he cares about is the big honking pay check at the end of the week. Bury the douche.
- brentinkc, on 01/18/2008, -1/+35Douchebag.
- jasqwerty, on 01/18/2008, -7/+37How do you charge someone for practicing medicine without a license and then also try and charge them under laws that only apply if you're a licensed doctor?
I understand a DA might want a guaranteed win on something, but these should really not be done concurrently. - notjustmii, on 01/18/2008, -1/+29It is really sad to think how much he makes off of exploiting those who are having problems in life.
- postalblowfish7, on 01/18/2008, -1/+29when a fat, bald man is constantly touting his clout as a weight loss/life management expert, you probably shouldn't listen to him.
- keggdirdle, on 01/18/2008, -0/+27"Sometimes you've just gotta give yourself what you wish you were getting from someone else."
Quote from (Dr?) Phil McGraw
Guess that means a Licence. - harajukukei, on 01/18/2008, -2/+29i've been waiting to hear this for years. i hate that fool.
- solarsavior, on 01/18/2008, -2/+27You're assuming people that frequent Digg actually watch this assclown...
- otaru123, on 01/18/2008, -2/+24I'm pretty sure Sergeant Pepper has more qualifications as well.
- bjs3171, on 01/18/2008, -1/+20wait. he doesn't even have a license to practice psychology? i've always hated him, but i didn't realize he wasn't even a real ***** shrink.
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -2/+18Dr Phil: You know my daddy once said, cutting your jeans is like cutting the fabric of time only its not time but fabric...
Jay: STFU dad - Navicerts, on 01/18/2008, -1/+15There is a big difference from giving a friend some adive and hosting a talk show where you claim to be a Dr.
- smacksaw, on 01/18/2008, -0/+14The issue isn't about his post-graduate degree but his state certification and licencing.
- Dubbsacc, on 01/18/2008, -1/+15Sometimes....
- Donboy2k, on 01/18/2008, -3/+16Wow, you've really been puffing the party bong, eh? That guy routinely says the stupidest ***** I've ever heard. You need to read up on your hero. He's a fraud.
- SuperVepr308, on 01/18/2008, -2/+14He is nothing more than a darkling of Oprah and therefore evil.
He is also annoying and generally full of *****. - redhotkurt, on 01/18/2008, -1/+13What do you have against Quakers?
- Matt2k, on 01/18/2008, -0/+10Is that true? It sounds a little too generalized, and I couldn't find a reference. I mean, I know health providers have to follow HIPAA standards, but everyone?
It would seem that you're suggesting its illegal for your mother to tell uncle Steve about your broken arm. If you don't agree to that disclosure. Or that it's illegal to report on idiot celebrities that check into rehab. Or that it's illegal to discuss a friend's recent operation. That just doesn't sound right. But sometimes law doesn't always make sense to my pedestrian mind. - inactive, on 01/18/2008, -6/+16All Dr. Phil does is criticize people non-stop on his show. Although that's necessary in a few cases he ultimately ends up doing more damage to people with these issues. Just like MTV though...People like to see fights and problems and that's what this show supports. Sad that he branched off from Oprah who actually helps people. He will go down in history as an all-time douche bag.
On a side note: Some woman called into a local radio station who went on the show with her husband. She said that Dr. Phil made passes at her backstage and at one point grabbed her ass. I was not surprised. Although she can't really prove it, I believe it. He's a power hungry, egotistical bastard. - Madak17, on 01/18/2008, -0/+10OH GOD PLEASE
- chaosium, on 01/18/2008, -2/+11It's not as if his core audience is smart enough to know the distinction.
- stanleyford, on 01/18/2008, -0/+9A psychologist can't prescribe medicine in any case, licensed or not. Psychologists aren't medical doctors.
- lazerus9, on 01/18/2008, -3/+12How's that working out for you?
- britblogger, on 01/18/2008, -3/+12wanker
- VeritasAequitas, on 01/18/2008, -2/+11So remind me is that the son that married one of the self centered, plastic surgery disfigured Dahm triplets. I mean all well adjusted young women pose naked in playboy with their sisters. Every quack psychiatrist wants there son to marry someone like that.
- terracottapai, on 01/18/2008, -1/+9Mr. Pibb is a replica of Dr Pepper, but it’s a ***** replica, ‘cuz dude didn’t even get his degree.
/your almost related Mitch Hedberg QOTD - Alphapsi12, on 01/18/2008, -3/+11Good, I can't stand Dr. Phil.
- uuuuut, on 01/18/2008, -0/+8Where do you people come up with this stuff?
Who has to comply with HIPAA:
Health plans
Health care clearinghouses
Health care providers who conduct certain financial and administrative transactions electronically.
Note that your mom isn't on the list. - TheUngod, on 01/18/2008, -0/+7So if I say "my ex is a skanky ho who gave me herpes" thats illegal?
- norman619, on 01/18/2008, -3/+10How was he "practicing w/o a license?"
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -1/+8I never understood him
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrCAIBJcSEQ - kcornwell, on 01/18/2008, -2/+9Even my grandmother now hates Dr. Phil. His days are numbered.
- zephyr42, on 01/18/2008, -0/+7assclown... that would make a great halloween costume.
- frozenwookie, on 01/18/2008, -0/+6pwned.
- Keyser_Soze, on 01/18/2008, -0/+6That's right. You do not have to be a Dr. to violate HIPAA.
- norman619, on 01/18/2008, -1/+7You're a moron. What should we expect?
