Wow, that was brutal... I don't think Fairplay would have a case, though, seeing as how he jumped Bonaduce first.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/10/2007, -1/+37Gravity sucks.
- humperdeath, on 10/18/2007, -0/+18Fairplay is an A$$hole. His 15 minutes were up as soon as his dead grandmother came back to life. I wont watch anything that is related to him, unless it is a real news story that he gets is A$$ kicked. Go D.B.!
- quomen, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12I don't know who the ***** he is, but it's bad enough that he looks like Andy Dick.

- usrlocalbin, on 10/10/2007, -57/+29Ever notice how most 'reality' shows are on Fox?
Not only is their 'news' trying to brainwash people with BS, but their programming seems to be aimed at dumbing people down. (minus family guy).
why are all their reality shows named "American" something?? Maybe to make you think you are being 'American' by sitting on your fat ass doing nothing and pacifying yourself.
Why the hell should we be worried about the war going on, Bush veto'ing childrens health care, and government atrocities when we have to wait for Tuesday night to see which blonde ***** gets kicked off 'American idol'!??!!- revhughes, on 10/11/2007, -7/+78Minus 'Family Guy'? You think that show makes you more intelligent? Wow.
- lharrod, on 10/10/2007, -7/+37It's like saying all junk food is bad, except for Big Macs, because he happens to like them.
- Bkaufman, on 10/10/2007, -8/+9Agreed. and I like family guy, atleast I know its stupid.
- YogiWanKenobi, on 10/10/2007, -30/+10Why are people digging usrlocalbin down? He speaks the truth!
- ryansmith18, on 10/10/2007, -11/+8...you can't be serious. Did you even read his comment? There's not one shread of fact to backup what he's saying.
And holy crap man, I love family guy and all...but there's no way that show ain't making me stupid. I feel it. - humperdeath, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Because his comment has really nothing to do with the article. It's not bashing FOX or TV reality shows. (although most suck- but not all). See the clip, Fairplay is just the most annoying idiot on TV now. He's got to go!
- ryansmith18, on 10/10/2007, -11/+8...you can't be serious. Did you even read his comment? There's not one shread of fact to backup what he's saying.

Bonadouche is always associated with such top-notch stuff too. How out of character.
- revhughes, on 10/11/2007, -7/+78Minus 'Family Guy'? You think that show makes you more intelligent? Wow.

Sorry, merchboy/digg for reply abuse, but it's worth it to see that guy eat stage. - ilikesboobs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9They actually have a reality TV channel, and the only reason I know this is because it is right next to the National Geographic channel on the menu.
- picsectionpleez, on 10/18/2007, -28/+3Bonaduce looks like SUCH a ***** ***** trying to be all bad and *****
- hammerpants, on 10/19/2007, -1/+24He tossed a guy over his head on live tv, dude. Does that not fall under the definition of "bad?"
- bobcatred, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3And you would have been smiling happily while some dumbass was attempting to hump your face?
- locodude711, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Jesus Christ they think people still care about Jonny Fairplay?

- jon02129, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Is it bad that I have no idea who either of those are? And therefore, don't really get what's going on?
- Rodex123, on 10/10/2007, -48/+38America +1 for stupidity
- siszam, on 10/21/2007, -250/+29Bonaduce is right wing, druggie who abuses everyone, including himself. I hope he gets sued into oblivion and goes to jail.
- siszam, on 10/18/2007, -152/+30I just noticed that Bonaduce his wearing a cross. As a Christian it offends me so greatly that fake Christians in the Republican party go around killing people, cheering death, attacking people and generally doing hideous, evil things in Gods name. Real Christians don't act that way.
- mightydavefish, on 10/10/2007, -65/+21Yeah, but the right wing in America does.
Most of those people consider themselves "good Christians".
It's part of what makes me a raving lunatic with the mouth of a sailor on digg.- RuffRidr, on 10/10/2007, -12/+59That and the fact that you're naturally an *****.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/10/2007, -0/+30I don't see how Bonaduce could possibly get prosecuted for this. Fairplay crossed a line by physically jumping Bonaduce. Bonaduce didn't start pounding on the guy, he simply flipped Fairplay to get him off.
- noahhoward, on 10/10/2007, -13/+71It must be great to dismiss all of the bad elements of your religion as 'not real christians'.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/18/2007, -9/+21Does that mean that Lenin and Stalin are representative of all atheists?
- SilentSpyder, on 10/10/2007, -4/+8There are certain laws and moral standards that Christians have to live by, this has nothing to do with atheists.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/18/2007, -7/+7And atheists have an absence of certain laws and moral standards that they live by.
So, what's your point? - krebcycle, on 10/20/2007, -1/+4That's not necessarily true. Atheism is not a creed or by definition a lack of a creed. Atheism is purely the belief that there is no god. You can still live by any code of conduct you wish to live by.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Similarly, not everyone who calls themselves "Christian" lives by the same creed. Case in point, some churches embrace homosexuality, some churches condemn it. Some churches believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, other churches believe that the Bible is nothing more than mythology.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/18/2007, -9/+21Does that mean that Lenin and Stalin are representative of all atheists?
- ooNSAoo, on 10/18/2007, -13/+43oh boy, it's the "not a real Christian" defense. All Christians of every sect say that same thing of Christian of all other sects. Don't pretend that the Bible doesn't illustrate, condone and encourage violence and death for, of and by it's followers.
- dungbeetle, on 10/10/2007, -8/+11If you want to get technical, it's the Old Testament that speaks about committing violence for God. Christianity is SUPPOSED to follow the New Testament. You know, the part about love one another, don't kill/sue/destroy what you don't like, things of that nature.
- xister, on 10/18/2007, -2/+8Then why do they still print the damned thing and preach/quote it in the churches?
- petewiz, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5Even if the New Testament was the only book of the Bible that Christians followed, it still recommends self-mutilation to deal with "sins" and even has rules on how slaves are supposed to behave (stressing obedience to the slave-master above all things). Why not just follow your own morals and leave out the Bronze Age *****?
- josell, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Woah, haven't heard the self-mutilation bits. Where is that. Just wondering.
- MacEnvy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2@josell
You've never heard of circumcision? It doesn't get much more "self-mutilating" than cutting part of your dick off for no reason. - skankyBacon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Uh, sorry to break it to you, but circumcision isn't normally something you do to yourself.
- givinupthefight, on 10/10/2007, -6/+28It also says "Judge not lest ye be judged." Good job.
- hammerpants, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2Yes, we do.
- petewiz, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11"Real Christians don't act that way." Actually they do if they follow the rules of the Bible:
If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death. - Leviticus 20:9
If your brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife tries to secretly entice you, telling you to go and worship other gods, do not listen to them. You must kill them. Show them no pity. And your hand must strike the first blow. - Deuteronomy 13:6-9
"If you hear it said about one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you to live in that wicked men have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" (gods you have not known), then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. Destroy it completely, [a] both its people and its livestock. Gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God. It is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt. None of those condemned things [b] shall be found in your hands, so that the LORD will turn from his fierce anger; he will show you mercy, have compassion on you, and increase your numbers, as he promised on oath to your forefathers" - Deuteronomy 13: 12-17
The list goes on, you get the idea. Hey Christians, try actually reading that book that you think is so great. You'd be surprised at some of the crazy ***** you'll find.- josell, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Remember the time you renounced Christianity by quoting the Torah? good times, eh?
- petewiz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1First of all, I didn't "renounce" anything, I denounced the vile form of mental slavery known as Christianity. How did I do it? By quoting directly from THEIR "HOLY" SCRIPTURE. Hey if they don't agree with the Old Testament, why do they keep it in the Bible? Guess what, their priests and pastors give readings from that part too, so don't act like it's not part of their beliefs, dumbass. Sarcasm is really meaningless when what you say is incorrect.
- josell, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Remember the time you renounced Christianity by quoting the Torah? good times, eh?
- bobcatred, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2could we make it through, oh, I dunno, 2 articles without it turning into another religious argument? I think Digg has done the Christian/Athiest thing to death.
- TenebrousX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_true_Scotsman
- mightydavefish, on 10/10/2007, -65/+21Yeah, but the right wing in America does.

- thcobbs, on 10/21/2007, -6/+141"I hope he gets sued into oblivion and goes to jail."
For what? A guy assaulted him and he defended himself. The moron had it coming.- yojiffyskippy, on 10/21/2007, -16/+3First of all, I think it is hilarious and Johnny Fairplay obviously had it coming. But "had it coming" is not a legal term while, "defended" is a legal term. And I'm sorry to say that the video clearly shows that Donny Bona-duche was not "defending" himself. I think Johnny Fairplay went from being an annoying ass to a rich annoying ass.
- h00ligan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2danny doesn't have any money, you're nuts.
- Bklynadam, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4True. I think Banaduce has an argument for common law tort of battery (intentionally causing an unconsented harmful or offensive contact with a person or to something closely associated with them). The jumping on and humping motion is definitely offensive in my reasonable opinion. A defense for Fairplay would be that Bonaducce consented to the touching . . . however I'm not sure this would work - unless by being on a reality-TV awards show you are impliedly consenting to guys jumping on you!
- yojiffyskippy, on 10/21/2007, -16/+3First of all, I think it is hilarious and Johnny Fairplay obviously had it coming. But "had it coming" is not a legal term while, "defended" is a legal term. - bronyraurstomp, on 10/10/2007, -9/+56SHUT UP SISZAM...
Danny owned this guy and he had it coming. Have never even seen Survivor (not even once, proud of that) and this guy deserved it...
DUGG! - arkmtech, on 10/10/2007, -3/+46Last I checked, ugly people who commit sexual assault are the ones who get sued - I hope Bondaduce effin' castrates Fairplay in court.
- petewiz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Not disagreeing with you, just thought the inclusion of the word ugly was pretty funny.
"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this man is clearly guilty of sexual assault. Come on, just look at how ugly he is."
- petewiz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Not disagreeing with you, just thought the inclusion of the word ugly was pretty funny.
- Fracture98, on 10/10/2007, -2/+83Look at Bonaduce. Any sane person would look at him and think, "if I ***** with this guy in the slightest, he will tear me into little pieces and feed me to a family of partridges". Got what he deserved.
- picsectionpleez, on 10/10/2007, -0/+25He had it coming that little dickwad
- djphatjive, on 10/10/2007, -38/+2I don't care who you are, you don't throw someone over your head onto a hard floor like that. I would sue his ass too. And I like him.
- hammerpants, on 10/10/2007, -0/+36As a general rule, everyone who dryhumps my face gets throwed [sic]...except Jessica Alba. Anyone else, and you're goin' over the shoulder!
- chrismgtis, on 10/10/2007, -24/+4You're all idiots. He could have simply shoved him off. Throwing the guy over his shoulder was merely a display of how macho he is. It makes him nothing less than an a complete *****.
- GiggleStick, on 10/18/2007, -4/+18I think he was simply trying to get his crotch closer to his face, but in his zeal, he lifted him too high.
- Bklynadam, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Chrismgtis,
I see your point, but the position of Bonaduce's hands made it the quickest and most intuitive choice to throw him upwards.- krebcycle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I don't see his point. If some little punkass ego bastard sticks his crotch in my face by jumping up on me, I'm going to ***** pummel him.
- Iwantawii, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12If this went to court, I bet there wouldn't be a single juror who wouldn't say "Yeah, I would have done that too."
- chrismgtis, on 10/10/2007, -24/+4You're all idiots. He could have simply shoved him off. Throwing the guy over his shoulder was merely a display of how macho he is. It makes him nothing less than an a complete *****.

- moofer, on 10/18/2007, -4/+20Hey man... that ain't all bad. Think about it. This is a win-win for society. Jonny goes to the hospital, and hopefully never heard from again, and Danny goes to jail, hopefully never to be heard from again. I see no downside.
- Iwantawii, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8And since we have the advent moment it happened captured forever on the Internets: win-win-WIN!
- moofer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9And does anyone see the delicious irony that he landed on his mouth?
- Iwantawii, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8And since we have the advent moment it happened captured forever on the Internets: win-win-WIN!
- cfulp, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24While I've not really a big fan of Bonaduce (I watched a few episodes of Saving Bonaduce), I have to back him on this. The guy jumped on top of him and proceeded to hump him...Bonaduce did what any normal guy would have.
- chrismgtis, on 10/10/2007, -19/+2No anyone with some sense and respect for themselves and others would have simply pushed him off. Throwing the guy over his head makes him an idiot that is full of himself.
- WilliamDavis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Sure he's an idiot that's full of himself, but he had to stop the humping one way or another. If you jump on a guy and start humping him, I think you can expect that or worse.
- chrismgtis, on 10/10/2007, -19/+2No anyone with some sense and respect for themselves and others would have simply pushed him off. Throwing the guy over his head makes him an idiot that is full of himself.
- TaranWalker, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2I can't believe you feel strongly about anything relating to a celebrity you'll probably never meet...these people are just people...I have no idea what either one has done to be famous (wasn't Bonaduce on a show a long time ago?), but this seems like a squabble between two attention whores, and thus, I'll let it be between them...
- krebcycle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You sure read a long ways down before you decided it wasn't worth your time. I guess you're just cooler than us.
- kingfoot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4how the HELL can you bring in RELIGION into a short less than a minute long video of some ***** getting what he deserves!? JESUS ***** CHRIST!

- mattcoady, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Some of us call that experience...
- Fracture98, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Reruns? Nah, that was Danny Spencer, not Danny Bonaduce. He was a character in "What's Happening".

- nj10ii, on 10/18/2007, -4/+46UFC rocks. Danny earned a Black Belt you know. So seeing him tossing this little ***** off him shouldn't come as a surprise. Any self respecting MAN should be expected to do the same~!

I hated Danny as a Radio Host but I love the recent live stuff like this I see on the Internet, ( like when he defended having respect for the office of the President even if you don't respect the man to some jerk interviewer a while back ). Oh and he clearly was just acting to get this idiot off of him after Johnny jumped on him, he will win in a lawsuit on this one.- kooft, on 10/10/2007, -2/+104I'm no Bonaduce fan either but I agree, if a man jumped on a woman and did that it'd be sexual assault. Bonaduce had two choices, either do nothing (which would make it tough for him to pursue any legal action in the future) or try to get the other guy to end the assault, and he did just that.
- ooNSAoo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+45I agree, I believe Bonaduce legally owned Fairplay. If he had attacked him after he got Fairplay off of him then it would be different. I think legally speaking Bonaduce has a case against Fairplay and not the other way around.
- Pilot85, on 10/18/2007, -3/+66Kinda just tossed him over his shoulders. Hilarious and well deserved.
- chrismgtis, on 10/18/2007, -29/+4There really are this many of you idiots on Digg?

- shark615, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3See most guys would not like that so they would toss him off. You obviously would enjoy being humped by another man so I can see how you wouldn't take that action. That being said you should at least be able to understand a heterosexual stance on this issue.

- JarLeachJim, on 10/18/2007, -44/+4Jesus! You can’t go around doing stuff like that. WTF was Bonaduce doing out there in the first place? Despite your feelings of Fairplay, he didn’t deserve to be embarrassed by Bonaduce like that. At least it wasn’t obvious at all that he was drunk. Guy is a real winner. Or more like a D list alcoholic, steroid using woman abuser. Digg posters kill me. Overwhelming support for Ahmadinejad and now major support for this loser. What’s next, a front page story on the humanitarian efforts of Osama Bin Laden with 200 posts claiming “He is soooo misrepresented”.
Excuse me while I go puke.- mywhitenoise, on 10/18/2007, -3/+26Haha, Fairplay didn't deserve to be embarrassed? But Bonaduce wouldn't face embarrassment to let some jack ass dry hump his head?
- JarLeachJim, on 10/18/2007, -23/+0Obviously they both didn’t do the right thing, however Danny is the catalyst of the incident and that’s all the judge cares about when awarding Fairplay his punitive damages.
- xister, on 10/18/2007, -0/+10Sooooo you're saying that Danny would have done this even if Fairplay hadn't jumped on him???
- RobotCitizen, on 10/18/2007, -0/+4I disagree. Danny was clearly walking away from the situation until Fairplay called to him and tapped him on the shoulder. Fairplay wanted him to turn around specifically so he could jump him. He could have just let Danny keep walking off the stage.

Regardless of your feelings of Fairplay, the law is pretty clear on assault and battery. Fairplay assaulted Bonaduce, and Bonaduce defended himself.
If you're more concerned about Fairplay's "embarrassment" than about the assault, what about Bonaduce's embarrassment on being humped by Fairplay?- DubbedOver, on 10/18/2007, -2/+2So what is the line that defines what defense is too much? What if Bonaduce had punched him? What if the guy broke his neck when he fell - is that still manslaughter? What if Bonaduce killed him with a knife or something after the guy jumped on him? (basically assault, manslaughter and murder scenarios)
- shark615, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3There is a very definitive line in law.
It is called reasonable force. In this instance he was jumped on and took immediate action to dispel the "attacker". He didn't do anything more then what was required to toss this little tosser off of him. Thats reasonable force.
If he had punched, kicked, stabbed, shot, body slammed, judo chopped or twisted his nuts off that would be deemed UNreasonable force and he would be prosecuted as such.

- Shandooga, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Sorry I was quick on the draw, Bill. If it makes you feel any worse, I have no regard for the office of president either. It's a sham. No country can be run by changing the leader every 4 years. What that means is that those with *fixed* access to the presidency are the ones in charge. That would mean 1) military, 2) Defense contractors 3) Media CEOs 4) Other corporations and 5) British royalty -- not necessarily in that order.
- kooft, on 10/10/2007, -2/+104I'm no Bonaduce fan either but I agree, if a man jumped on a woman and did that it'd be sexual assault. Bonaduce had two choices, either do nothing (which would make it tough for him to pursue any legal action in the future) or try to get the other guy to end the assault, and he did just that.
- joeflynn, on 10/10/2007, -19/+5First time I ever saw a guy get a duce !
- Shrubber, on 10/18/2007, -7/+135I'm not a big fan of either of them, but it did indeed look like Bonaduce was just throwing Johnny off him after the jumped on him like a fool. Although Bonaduce didn't really need to do the flip over his head, though. I agree, it looked like a UFC move.
- page2, on 01/17/2008, -27/+4You're right -- he didn't need to flip him over his head. In a later interview, Bonaduce kept saying it was Fairplay's "velocity" that took him over the top, but there's no question Bonaduce had time to determine what he was going to do. He also had plenty of warning that it was going to happen, because Fairplay gave him every indication that he was going to pull some kind of move, almost as if he wanted Bonaduce to play along. Bonaduce threw Fairplay over his head for show. I think he'd lose a self-defense claim.
Not like I like Fairplay, but I don't like BS.- p0s3r, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20Did you not see Fairplay humping him?
- elishagrey, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17Exactly. It was his up and down thrusts that created that velocity.
- page2, on 01/17/2008, -2/+10That's hilarious. Fairplay's humping was so powerful that it practically threw him over Bonaduce's head?
I watched from the moment of mounting and counted to 3 Mississippi before Fairplay got thrown. If Bonaduce had held his arms away from him, Fairplay could have humped like that for five minutes and not come close to going over anybody's head. It was a very sustainable position. Bonaduce could have sat there and taken it, but instead he threw him. Not saying I don't understand his choice, but it was a choice, not an inevitable consequence of high-velocity thrusts.- p0s3r, on 10/18/2007, -1/+8Why should he have to sit there and take some other guy humping him? How is that not assault, and how is what Danny did not self-defense? Unless you think strange males humping you as normal behavior.
- pilot3033, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Well, what would you have done? Even it was meant to be playful (which it probably was), would you sit there and let some jackass rub his ***** in your face? Pushing fairplay forward would have resulted in a much messier end to the situation. Danny just did what any one who is a trained fighter would do - use the momentum of the attacker against them. One quick flip over the back of the head, end of situation.
- p0s3r, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10I would've done everything Danny did, except add in a throat stomp at the end.
- krebcycle, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3Exactly, I can't see how anyone here can think that tossing that ***** over your head is in any way undeserved. Some dude jumps on you and starts humping your face, he deserves whatever you throw at him until he leaves the area.
- page2, on 01/17/2008, -4/+1I might very well have done what he did, and I can't say I blame him. What I'm responding to is the idea that Bonaduce acted in self-defense, because that term kind of implies that he was in danger. The fact is, the problem was that a jackass was humping him, and he didn't like it.
Bonaduce IS a trained fighter, and no way was he even physically threatened in that situation. He didn't even try to pull Fairplay off before he tossed him. Iit's just not believable that Bonaduce 1) was afraid of him and 2) had ONLY ONE CHOICE in "defending" himself, that being to throw the guy over his head.
How about grab the skinny humper by the ribs, pull him away, and set his ass down?
If you're going to do the macho thing, don't be all "self-defense" later, like you had no choice. Baloney. Fairplay is a frickin twig.
- moush, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0dunno why your comment is getting buried, but the community here does suck, lots of little kids that think assault is cool if someone is pulling a prank on you

- Thorox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15In most states... any unwanted contact can be classified as a battery. An assault is a threat to commit a battery.
- quisph, on 10/10/2007, -8/+5Battery does not automatically mean that self-defense is justified.
According to West's Encyclopedia of American Law: "A person claiming self-defense must prove at trial that the self-defense was justified. Generally a person may use reasonable force when it appears reasonably necessary to prevent an impending injury. A person using force in self-defense should use only so much force as is required to repel the attack."
Johnny's actions might have amounted to battery, but I don't think anyone can honestly say that Danny thought he was likely to be injured by it. Force was probably not justified, at least not as much force as Danny used.- campigenus, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16Are you ***** kidding me? "not as much force as Danny used"??? He just threw the guy off him. Simple as that. Sure, the result was that Monkey Boy lost a few teeth, but, it's pretty clear that's not what Danny intended.
I used to kind of like Danny; I like him much more now.- quisph, on 10/18/2007, -3/+1He didn't "just" throw the guy off him. He threw him over his head, above a hard surface. The injuries, even if they weren't intended, were at least forseeable. It was reckless. More to the point, it was unnecessary. Danny wasn't in any danger.
Now don't misunderstand me; I'm not saying I disapprove of what Danny did. I'm just saying that he probably would not be able to plead self-defense in a court of law.

- MaynardJK, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14He must have really butchered it then because I don't see that word anywhere in his post.
- rokinroj, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4you misquoted ;-P
- Pyloff, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Amazing! Third time this has been posted, and it has the most comments.
Cue the press your luck whammy sound.

- andretii, on 10/18/2007, -36/+5That bitch reacted like if he wasn't part of crap tv. I really hope the other guy gets lotta money out of this.
- f0rr3st, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6How about you give that another shot, champ. This time in English.
- jabberwolf, on 10/18/2007, -6/+98What law suit? The guy technically assaulted him first. Danny just helped him to the ground.
- blakeage, on 10/18/2007, -26/+5It hardly looked like assault, he looked like he was just playing around and Danny pulled as ***** move to protect his pride. No lawsuits, but why'd Danny want to hurt him?
- fmaxwell, on 10/18/2007, -3/+24Sorry, but I'll side with Danny on this one. If some guy jumps on you and starts dry-humping your face, then you've got a right to toss him to the ground. What you may not be aware of is that Bonaduce is an accomplished martial arts student and he could have put the guy in a wheelchair (or worse) if he'd shown less restraint.
- oderdigg, on 10/18/2007, -20/+2What an exaggeration. He didn't dry hump his face. He jumped on him and hugged him using his legs and arms. Danny is a homophobe and surely he saw this as an attack on his masculinity and decided to use his steroid-induced muscles to launch him over his head instead of pushing him away.
There was a better way to handle this. Danny isn't known for self-control and Johnny should have known this.- fmaxwell, on 10/18/2007, -0/+7Yes, he did dry hump his face. Hugging does not involve gyrating of the hips and pressing the groin against someone (if you disagree, I can only offer my sympathy those to your poor family members, for whom hugging little oderdigg must have been harrowing.).
You're making it sound like Bonaduce is built like the Incredible Hulk. He's just an average build guy who's in decent shape. He doesn't look like Barry Bonds, the guy on the cover of Muscle & Fitness, or some guy in the WWF.
- fmaxwell, on 10/18/2007, -0/+7Yes, he did dry hump his face. Hugging does not involve gyrating of the hips and pressing the groin against someone (if you disagree, I can only offer my sympathy those to your poor family members, for whom hugging little oderdigg must have been harrowing.).

- jabberwolf, on 10/10/2007, -4/+9California Penal Code § 240. Assault defined. An assault is an unlawful attempt, coupled with a present ability, to commit a violent injury on the person of another.
Although the definition in § 240 of an assault refers to the attempt to commit a “violent injury” on another person, the “least touching” will suffice to constitute the requisite battery. People v. Cavazos (1985, 5th Dist) 172 Cal App 3d 589, 218 Cal Rptr 269, 1985 Cal App LEXIS 2546.
When I say technically, its not an opinion, I DO MEAN TECHNICALLY ASSAULTED DANNY FIRST BY LAW !- turbojugend23, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I think it falls under the definition of battery.
Battery: The unlawful and unwanted touching or striking of one person by another, with the intention of bringing about a harmful or offensive contact. - hammerpants, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2I think it's funny when people who have no understanding of the law try to argue it. You have no idea what you're talking about: STFU.
- turbojugend23, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I think it falls under the definition of battery.
- bingobongony, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2The question becomes was Bonaduce's retaliation reasonable given the manner of assult. Just becuase you get assaulted by the strict definition of hte law oes not mean you can beat the attacker to within an inch of his life. Laws are not black and white like that. You are allowed to return reasonable force to defend yourself.
That being said, Bonaduce did nothing but flip the guy off him, mostly using Fairplay's own momentum to get him off. Definitely not excessive force at all. (But had he kicked him, or stomped on him, you cannot say "Well, he assaulted him first")
- fmaxwell, on 10/18/2007, -3/+24Sorry, but I'll side with Danny on this one. If some guy jumps on you and starts dry-humping your face, then you've got a right to toss him to the ground. - creppie, on 10/19/2007, -3/+45Thumbs-up for body-slamming the douchebag. This is the first time I ever liked Bonaduce.
- samcrut, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Aw now that's just mean... oh, wait, I guess you're too young to have watched the Partridge Family. He was pretty universally liked before that pesky puberty kicked in.
- shadowspawn, on 10/18/2007, -11/+40WTFG DANNY! Jeezus I'd buy you a few rounds of beer and a few shots taken from hot chicks belly buttons if you ever show up around here. My god, this fairplay "actor" is an ASS and you SPANKED him on tv. After watching the clip again and again, I would've done the same thing and had the same expression and motions right afterwards... like a "what the hell were you thinking? that's what you get for assaulting me."
Guy, You are my Hero.- ShrimpCrackers, on 10/18/2007, -3/+18Do you realize that you're not actually talking to Danny Bonaduce?
- Synn, on 10/18/2007, -1/+14He can't hear you.
- richIsBored, on 10/18/2007, -0/+15Shhhhhhh. Don't spoil the moment.
- RedHerringHack, on 10/18/2007, -0/+5I have known danny and his wife on and off since highschool, and danny isn't someone you want to ***** with. I love him for it. Next time I see him, I will buy him a drink for you.

- natedouglas, on 10/18/2007, -1/+13Classic.
- HappyScrappy, on 10/18/2007, -0/+33What career?
- LilJimmyNordin, on 10/20/2007, -11/+129Bonaduce looks down and says "Wow, there's actually a rung on the fame ladder between me and the ground, and there's someone on it!" One loser assaults another loser at an event celebrating an industry of losers. We chuckle "Silly losers" to ourselves and close the window.
- threemagic, on 10/10/2007, -10/+3"silly losers"? Hmm they have achieved fame.. I suppose that's something. I dunno if I'd call them losers. Just typical assholes. Danny wouldn't be famous now had he not got the Partridge gig.. and reality tv is making the general public realize just how phony fame is.
- archimago42, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Yea, some people are just losers, they achieved millions of people watching them be some of the biggest losers in the USA. Way to go.
- bingobongony, on 10/10/2007, -7/+3If Bonaduce is a loser, what would that make you? He has achieved far more success than you EVER will.
- archimago42, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Drugs, mental illness, self mutilation, and a total lack of respect from almost everyone who has ever heard your name. What a star!
- forgottenhope, on 10/18/2007, -6/+2Danny Bonaduce is a loser. His wife hates him not becauseof the drinking because he is a ***** ***** sober or not.
***** Danny Bonaduce. 9/11 is an inside job.
- LilJimmyNordin, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Okay, here's a craft project for you two: Take a huge piece of paper and, in the middle, very small, write "the point". Then turn it over and, right in the middle, write your name.
Congratulations! You've made yourselves a map. Happy hunting. - phlebitis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Agreed. 100%. I don't know either of them, never heard of such an award show, but I got 30 seconds of entertainment out of watching two nobodys shame themselves. This video is the apex of both careers. This incident gave two pitiful, fame hungry people exactly what they wanted.

- mindsnare, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15celebrity or not, live TV ownings are way diggworthy.
if I remember rightly that blonde dude lied about his mother dieing to win survivor, not quite sure how that works but that's the story afaik, hence, people hate him.- Kronos6948, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3What a puss. Why would you pull some BS like that? That's *****.
They should make Survivor real. Just put people on an island, and last one to SURVIVE, wins.
- Kronos6948, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3What a puss. Why would you pull some BS like that? That's *****.
- DangerCollie, on 10/10/2007, -5/+5People still watch Survivor? I didn't know who either of those idiots were. Fox has degraded to a television landfill.
- jcm267, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Danny Bodaduce was a child star in the 70s...

- jlungu, on 10/20/2007, -1/+107Johhny Fairplay left a shoe onstage ... very unprofessional.
- spearce, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9it was next to his shattered toofes.
- dimebonics, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Oh man I noticed that too.. you know its a brutal impact when someone loses their shoe(s)!!
- samcrut, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I'm thinking there's probably 2-3 different bodily fluids out there as well.
- jferraro, on 10/18/2007, -10/+169Bro, don't slam me bro!
- jabberwolf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14AAAHHAAHAHHAHAAAAAA Thats about the same thing. When you act like a dick, what the hell do you think will happen, and then he turns around and files for assault on Danny. Yes he apparently filed charges already with the LAPD but the LAPD hasn't arrested Danny and probably won't!
- clackerd, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2well said man. that was some good *****.
- Pedwidget, on 10/21/2007, -52/+5Bonaduce should go to jail for this immediately. Fairplay is an idiot but that's still no excuse.
- collinmurphy, on 10/18/2007, -2/+19Actually this is an example of self defense. Fairplay could be charged with battery.
- bigdrd, on 10/18/2007, -2/+18You're joking....right?
Fairplay wasn't just being an idiot, he was committing assault....on camera! It was about time somebody schooled this tool! - fmaxwell, on 10/18/2007, -1/+13The guy jumped on Bonaduce and started dry-humping his face. Bonaduce efficiently tossed the guy to the floor. He didn't ring his bell (smack the guy's ears), punch him in the nuts, or snap an elbow, all of which he could have easily done (Bonaduce is a black belt martial artist).
It's not Bonaduce's fault that Fairplay pulled an ***** move like that or that Fairplay is so uncoordinated that he can't manage to shoulder roll, get his arms out to protect his face, or grab on to Bonaduce's clothing to slow the fall. - bdurkin, on 10/18/2007, -2/+8pussy
- TheUndertoker, on 10/18/2007, -10/+1He shouldn't go to jail, but he most certainly should pay for Fairplay's medical bills due to this incident.
- f0rr3st, on 10/18/2007, -0/+7Why, because Fairplay is a moron who isn't responsible for what happens when he jumps on people's faces?
- mywhitenoise, on 10/18/2007, -0/+3I really hope most people don't think like you do. If that ever happened to me, I wouldn't stand there and let the guy hump my face, and I wouldn't want to go to jail for self defense. You're a little bitch.
- Pedwidget, on 10/18/2007, -3/+0Was he humping his face? I must have missed that. I retract.
- spearce, on 10/18/2007, -0/+4did you even watch the ***** video?
- DreKor, on 10/18/2007, -9/+48Was I the only person who didn't know who these two guys were?
- threemagic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I learned of Fairplay because of this event.
Danny Partridge I've known for a long time. - bjs3171, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3the redhead was the youngest Partridge Family member, and the blonde guy is some dude from Survivor.
- heliox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2There were two younger "siblings". Danny was the middle.
- toastdieb, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1No, I didn't either.
- dlmaher, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'm with you guys, the slammer I had heard of course, but did not know he had a post-Partridge Family "career", the slammee is new to me.
- threemagic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I learned of Fairplay because of this event.
- TomT223, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6SLAM! I loved it.
- merlintg, on 10/18/2007, -5/+53Fairplay deserved it. If someone jumped up on me and tried to hump my face, he would have had to have more than a few root canals and 2 hours of surgery. Fairplay is lucky Bonaduce didn't rip his spine out and shove it down his throat.
What to go Danny Bonaduce! This is probably the first good thing you have ever done for TV.- TheUberDork, on 10/18/2007, -0/+13I was just saying the same thing...
It's not like Bonaduce was trying to make the guy do a face-plant either. What Fairplay jerk got is what he deserved.- shors, on 10/18/2007, -8/+0how the ***** can you compare "dry humping" to what bonaduce did. fairplay's dry humping did not hurt bonaduce. okay it could have been a little bit tactless. maybe it made 15 seconds of bonaduce's life slightly unpleasant. but when bonaduce bodyslammed fairplay on his head, he got a life changing injury, and it could have been much worse (spinal trauma, brain trauma). I hope you're happy bonaduce, I hope it was worth it you worthless *****
- creepydarkwurm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I think that as long as he didn't beat the crap out of the guy when he finaly got him off, what ever move he used to get rid of the guy is fair. Anything can happen, if he would have just pushed him straight off, he could have slammed his head and died too.
- MASTERPL, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1too bad.
- josell, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1life changing? What's changed?

- NeoCortex, on 10/20/2007, -4/+210I love Bonaduce's reaction afterwards. It was kinda like:
"Well, what the ***** did you expect me to do?"- DanJohnHarris, on 10/10/2007, -15/+5I'd say it was more: "I'm the man. I'm the man. Oh wait he looks pretty hurt and I might get in some trouble for that. Crowd, what's your take on the matter?"
- theuniversal, on 10/10/2007, -23/+5Bonaduce obviously didn't feel threatened and didn't need to do that. He could of just pushed Fairplay off but instead he wanted to act like the big swinging-dick man in front of the crowd. He will lose the lawsuit, and personally I hope the judge makes the prick pay through his ***** nose.
- ohgr, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16Ok man, so would it be alright if I come around your house later tonight, jump up on you, and dry hump your face until the cows come home?" ... Great! I'll be there at 8.
- MASTERPL, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3move that to 9. I'm already penciled in for 8. Where have you been?
- DarthBeam, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Tell That to that to the DA no charges filed because it was self defense

- ohgr, on 10/18/2007, -10/+1Hmmm nah I'd say it was more like "Oops! Did I do that?"
- flip, on 10/10/2007, -10/+3notice how he was carrying his coat with him. Danny wasn't intended to be onstage
but took it upon himself to further Embarrass the guy and prop himself up as the BIG MAN in the process.
Danny requires his own ass getting kicked for that stunt.
the broken tooth guy... well his future is already back in the salt mines. - Estaris, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8You can't push someone straight off you when they are hugging you like that. You would just fall over also.
To get a reality check here... If a guy suddenly jumped on you and started dry humping near your face in front of a huge group of people, would your reaction only be pushing him over your head? Wouldn't most of you want to beat the crap out of him? - charlietuna, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Well, the whole scene is simply unseemly. One of those situations where you feel a bit degraded just by being there.
- Volred, on 10/20/2007, -0/+3Joel McHale will have some good material for the next new episode of "The Soup"
