Britney Spears May Just “Give Away” Sex Tape!

gossip.commongate.com — Federline has already been approached by a porn mogul in the U.S. to buy the tape, but choose to pass on the deal for more money. Now sources close to Spears report she is “seriously thinking about” giving away a digitally re-mastered copy of the four-hour long sex video. Sorry Kev!

I am not a fan of Britney Spears, however I must applaud her for taking this approach.       There wasn't as much hype with Paris before the tape. Britney is largely successful because people have wanted to see this type of thing for many many years and they couldn't. There was the whole virginity thing. The whole kids role model thing. She has been built up so much.

      Same thing with Sable from the (then WWF) WWE. She was huge because people wanted to see her cans - she posed for Playboy a few times, and though they sold well, it was a big factor in her undoing because there was nothing there to keep people roped in.

If it was meant for private use then both spouses have expectation of privacy. The husband would have to obtain consent to do anything with the tape as it is property of both spouses. If he does sell without consent, it leaves him open to being sued.

      The point is that if he were to sell the tape, after a long court case, he would still keep some of the proceeds. Brittney, in this article, is out to make sure that he does not get a dime. I have no idea if this story is true but I wanted to clear up the ownership issue.

      The only ground she were to have, if any, was that it destroys her public image, which she relies on for her career. This point was actually brought up before a judge and he had dismissed it by more or less telling her that her image is far from clean and wholesome.
