- VinForte, on 11/16/2007, -5/+71These Bitches are all spoiled C**ts. They need a good dose of reality and a swift kick in the ass.
- Dested, on 11/16/2007, -9/+66So is america, but you dont see fox news reporting about that, do you?

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" - borchard76, on 11/16/2007, -1/+45If I could have Britney's income for one month, I would be able to pay off all my debts, buy a nice but modest home, purchase a two new cars and probably have a bit left over. With that done I could live very easily on my income, and I would be able to save quite a bit at the same time. I could afford to put my kids into a reasonable private school (hey, not paying $1500 in rent would make things go a LOT further than they do, and I know my rent is hardly the highest in the area).
So with all that in mind, let me join the ranks of saying that I don't feel even the slightest twinge of sympathy for these very privileged people. They seem to have no clue how lucky they are. They have $8000 dresses and suits, and my wife and I strongly hesitate to spend more than $100 on a dress for her to wear quite a bit.
So many of these celebs have no CLUE how it is to be on a tight budget. - typicalusername, on 11/16/2007, -5/+41This doesn't address the most important question.... When is Lohan going to go broke, so I can pick her up on a street corner and pay for sex!?
- badenglishihave, on 11/16/2007, -1/+22Dugg so everybody gets a chance to make fun of these idiots.
- linzichan, on 11/16/2007, -2/+23She has to pay all of K-fed's court fees plus child support of $20k a month, among other things...*cough*crack*cough*
Oh god, it's sad that I know that. - ColorBlind, on 11/16/2007, -3/+23Good

- shaft3205, on 11/16/2007, -5/+12Interesting article, but I couldnt get over what a moron the writer is. First of all, Ponzi schemes are pyramid schemes, not transferring money between accounts. Second, in one paragraph he says Usher opts for real estate investments, then in the next paragraph he says "Usher has not been seduced by real estate like other stars". What a ***** idiot
- Sibre, on 11/16/2007, -0/+7I always thought $20k a month for child support was completely ridiculous.
- redfan, on 11/16/2007, -1/+7Oh noooooo![/gay teacher on Family Guy]
- souljaboytellem, on 11/16/2007, -2/+8Why would you want to have sex with that thing?
- typicalusername, on 11/16/2007, -5/+11Would you guys just shut the ***** up about where the news is coming from... We're having fun in this thread. Take your political, bash Fox news, or whatever you're beef is ***** outta here!
- DaleoftheUK, on 11/16/2007, -2/+8Leave britney ALOOOONE (to go broke by herself). biatch.
- Boshow, on 11/16/2007, -0/+5A Ponzi scheme is NOT a pyramid scheme. Get your facts straight before badmouthing the author. It is similar, but there are key differences between the two.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme#What_is_ ... - Shawn4168, on 11/16/2007, -3/+8Will bury anything you say
- jc7012, on 11/16/2007, -0/+5"Somewhere," is not a credible source.
- res2, on 11/16/2007, -0/+5My heart bleeds...
- thefandango, on 11/16/2007, -0/+5It's what plants CRAVE!
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 11/16/2007, -1/+6The article says she makes about 737k a month. That would put me through school about 20 times.
Soo... I still find it hard to believe someone can go broke making that kind of money.
I guess that makes it all the more outrageous when it happens.
Edit: OH YAH FOX NEWS PORN!
"Britney Lost Her Panties ... and Now She May Lose Her Shirt" - ronaldinho, on 11/16/2007, -0/+4I think the porn industry will take them in a heartbeat actually, I still think many likes to see Britney getting absolutely jizzed and sodomized by 20 men......or lions
- inactive, on 11/16/2007, -1/+5why? are you gay? she might be a slut but she has awesome boobs.
- crapmatic, on 11/16/2007, -0/+4Dugg for the rofl-cone... never heard of that one.
- cphelps, on 11/16/2007, -1/+5The question is not "Who cares anymore", but "Who ever cared?".
- rudy23, on 11/16/2007, -0/+4uh have you been living under a rock?
Digg = crappy news site that reports on nonsense like this.
also digg does not do any reporting. its users digg up reported stories.
also theres a preferences tab where you can uncheck celebrities. - inactive, on 11/16/2007, -2/+5i didn't know that A was represented by Two *?
- chukd, on 11/16/2007, -1/+4You are forgetting that most things are given to them so they don't have to pay for them. I think what you are missing is most of the expenses come from their family asking them to buy things or help them out. It happens with lottery winners, and lets face it they are the lottery winners of "talent". (I cringe to say talent but it is somewhat true)
- sovereign3, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3The problem is that Britney herself likely doesn't know she only makes 737k per month. So she likely spends more than that believing she actually has more than she really does. When celebrities go bankrupt it is often the result of cash flow issues. It's not that they don't make enough money, but they spend too much of it. The problem is compounded when the celebrity has fully capitalized on their celebrity. Britney might make 737k NOW, but ten years from now when she longer makes music and is no longer "pretty," she will make substantially less. However, it would be impossible to maintain her present lifestyle and she thus becomes bankrupt.
The smart celebrities (and athletes) know that their income earning potential greatly diminishes in the future and seek to maximize their earnings now and save for later. Britney and Lindsay and MC Hammer etc. believed falsely they'd always have money, but didn't actually. Jay-Z, Usher, and Russell Simmons (all mentioned in the article) are smart enough to diversity their wealth. Their money will continue to earn money for them even after Usher stops making records or Russell Simmons decides he wants to retire. - inactive, on 11/16/2007, -7/+10I do believe calling them spoiled cats is a little underwhelming...
- inactive, on 11/16/2007, -2/+5You are sad because you know that. practically every person who ever watched TV knows that. what really is sad that her ***** life makes more headlines on news channels then actual news.
- GreyICE, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3Actually I'm pretty sure whatever Diggers think is relevant belongs on the front page of Digg. One of the problems with having limited censorship is... limited censorship.
