- TyroPyro, on 10/12/2007, -1/+78I shouldn't care, but this is so satisfying.
- santabear, on 10/12/2007, -1/+42It's about time.
- cracked22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+34Maybe she'll learn that rules do apply to her
- kkaabboomm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+35"An emotional Paris, with tears welling up in her eyes, told the judge moments before the decision "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Witnesses inside the courtroom say that Paris' parent, Rick and Kathy Hilton, were both visibly upset as the sentence was handed down. Kathy, we're told, was especially distraught."
Damn right she's sorry. Now she knows she isn't above the law. - freshlycut, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25I see a Simple Life spin off in the works.
- greenlight2001, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21To an all womens prison? Scissor me timbers!
Perhaps a new video? - rberger909, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21In the immortal words of Nelson, "HA HA!"
- Scaryclouds, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19That's hot
- HalFTW, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17"Was justice served?
Yes 95%
No 5%

Not often you see numbers like that. - zweben, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13"***** it, throw her ass in jail and throw the key away, no one will notice."
Personally, I'll notice a marked improvement in the overall quality of life. - tazx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Hopefully this will lead to more judges treating celebrities the same as ordinary people. All should be equal before the law, wealth & fame not leading to privilege or leniency.
- gordo42, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Excellent!
- Dohko_Xar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11I hope she drops the soap!
- sillykalcifer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1045 days isn't enough
- drmobutu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10It's gonna be the best season of "The Simple Life", EVER!!!
- fantasticFlan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8But how long do you think she'll retain that knowledge?
- Aliarse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9With a spade.
- cfpresley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8RTFA, judge said no alternative prisons
- conman16x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Complaining about "Breaking" is the new complaining about "Amazing".
- Mearn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7@catalysis
Perhaps it's because she broke the law and is actually being punished for it in comparison to most celebrity cases where they get slapped on the wrist?
We aren't taking pleasure in her suffering, were taking pleasure in justice being served for someone who broke the law. - illeatyourbrain, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8This is the best Paris-related happening since I saw that pole go through her forehead in House of Wax...and her reaction in that was as dull as when we've seen her take a pole elsewhere.
- kavery, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8"Jail's, like, so uncool and stuff... yah..."
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Watch her turn this into a remake of Caged Heat.
- Dragon88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I hope that's at least 45 days we don't have to hear about her in the news.
- aschmack, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Watch South Park more
- psm97, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Karma. May her sister and parents join this morally bankrupt, brainless piece of white trash in an unfashionable orange jump suit. Oh, the life experiences she will have!!! Hope TMZ gets some great photos...cleaning toilets and becoming someone's galpal...tho I don't think that will be a stretch for a true slut and whore. The inmates might want to be careful about diseases they may pick up from this skank. All I can say is "It's HOT!" The clubs will miss you. NOT. Your latest boypal will be hanging with Nicole, Lindsey and Bald Brittany. 45 days is a long time to be out of the limelight and easily forgotten. But you go girl!
- wonderchemist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Actually she can spend the next day at home or out partying and the next for 32 more days... She doesn't have to report to Jail until June 5.
- mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5If she does, she'll bring in a camera crew for her show.
- inotocracy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Your sites logo looks really compressed. Fix it.
- harrier666, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@catalysis, did you know she was reported to say "It was nothing" after being arrested for drunk driving? She got slapped on the wrist for doing something that could have killed someone. It's not like she is being punished for wearing pink uggs (though she should be). She is getting nailed for not taking the law seriously. Celebs often do this ***** and just throw money at it and continue ignoring the rules of society. We're happy to see at least one such idiot getting her dues (at least some of her dues).
- dunezone, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9***** it, throw her ass in jail and throw the key away, no one will notice.
- scispaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4No, she's going to jail because she's a drunken, irresponsible lout. If she made the same amount of money as the rest of us, it would have happened long ago.
- greenlight2001, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5If I was the judge, I'd make her stay at a Motel 6 for 45 days.
- rogueace, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4While i fully expect to see some law firm put in a couple of all nighters and find a way to get her out of this mess. I am still pleased to see that there are judges who don't subscribe to the theory of "celebrity justice".
- kavery, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I wouldn't be surprised if that slut did it on purpose.
- greenlight2001, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5You're a long way from home. Looks like you missed the reply button.
- SillyRabbits, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Ummm, letterman and leno record during the day - long before this happened. You'll have to wait until Monday to hear any jokes about it.
- AndrewDB, on 01/10/2008, -0/+3Bout damn time.
Let's try to make her stay about as comfortable as an Econo-lodge. - siszam, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Buried for using the word "Breaking"
- drafhk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3As they say, she's not sorry for doing what she did, she's sorry she got caught.
- Halenthal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4In this case, no, it wouldn't be me. Because I have some COMMON SENSE.
License suspended? Don't drive. On probation? Don't break the law. It seems simple enough. - Zaetha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@Halftw
We, the other 5%, declare that 45 days in jail is not enough. - robbiedo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I went to law school some years ago (not a lawyer, ended up getting a doctorate in PolySci...waste of time), anyhow;
A generation ago, or so... it was very difficult to end up in jail. Today, it is very easy to end up in jail. I won't get into the debate of whether Paris "deserves" to go to jail. Jail used to be reserved for people who are such a danger to the general population, and committed heinous acts that it was deemed necessary for the general population to incur the costs of housing societies miscreants. Of course, if you were black or a mexican, the bar was (and still is) much lower.
My point is the state is increasingly criminalizing significant portions of the population, and the drive to do it has little to do with protecting society, but other factors which can be readily discussed.
It's fun for the rabble to raise the "Jail Paris" banner, but remember it cold just as easily be you. - gothsquirrel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Here is more info on the judge sending her to jail. http://thesuperficial.com/2007/05/paris_hilton_is_going_to_jail.php
- dan7546, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Omg yes that whore gets what she deserves no "star" treatment for her
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3She has no one to blame but herself. She deserves everything she has coming to her.
Dig in Paris!
http://www.tmz.com/photos/i-can-dig-it/171779/ - Tacobake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I bet that totally made the judge's day.
It could be said that in another case, one of the less strict punishments would have been handed down. Unfortunately for Paris, none of those punishments would have any meaning. And the next time she's reckless driving she could kill herself or another. - bjw33, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Ooooooh, Paris in the shower with other womens.......That's Hot!
- sofaKing812, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3How many smokes do you think a "Night in Paris" will be in county?
