dont be a hypocrite now my dear...
I support leather myself - not so much "calfskin" but that is shamefull of her!! - WordsnCollision, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4How typical - do as i say, not as i do.
- crgrimwade, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3What is the problem - I would also campaign against such practices when it comes to Dolphins and Whales, but at the same time I am not vegetarian so see no issue with using the skin of a animal that is farmed and killed humanely - in fact it is only correct that we do make use of as much as possible. (do you wear leather shoes).
The issue with the Dolphins and the Whales comes down to the fact that our methods cause severe distress to an intelligent animal and at the same time threatens them as a species.
The same can hardly be said of domesticated farm animals which undergo no such distress and in fact probably become an endangered species if we did not use them as feed stock. - AmyVernon, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2She campaigns against the slaughter of dolphins and whales. Leather doesn't come from them. How is she a hypocrite?
