- inobla, on 06/17/2008, -6/+19I didn't snap out of the NWO / Illuminati faith until the early rise of the Trooferism shortly after 9/11.
I started with, "Of course the evil rogue NWO sect of the government had something to do with it! EXPOSE THE TRUTH!"
Once I started hearing Jones & Co. preach about stuff I had easy access to cross referencing for validity, my lover affair with Club Conspiracy was over in fairly short order.
It ended with, "Wait. Controlled Demolition? Missing planes? Pentagon Cruise missile?.. Waaait a minute..." Ironically at that point, the truth was indeed exposed.
..still wish I could say I was done singing praise to Alex Jones and his predecessors before I was in my 20's, but at least I still have a decent arsenal parked and ready for the coming revolution. ;p - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -8/+17Don't worry guys, you're not alone. I remember being 13 or so and being a HUGE believer of things like the JFK coverup, UFOs (roswell, ect), and to an extent the NWO (though I didn't know the terminology, just a vague concept of...)
Of course, than I went to high school, and eventually college, and realized that after objectively weighing the evidence, most of this is horse-***** used to sell things... - Hortnon, on 06/17/2008, -10/+18A patriot...that chases servicemembers out of New York restaurants screaming and yelling like a madman.
What a ***** douche. - inobla, on 06/17/2008, -10/+18Hero? So many naive disciples...
"Jones maybe sensational sometimes and may exaggerate"
'Exaggerate' is a terrible way to excuse a consistent process of deception and lies. Since conman and scam artist aren't listed as an option,
KOOK it is! Buried. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -11/+19But you got better. That's a huge point in your favor.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -11/+19I used to think that the whole FEMA Camp thing, the Majestic 5, and Alex Jones' videos of troops "invading" American towns were probably real.... But I was like 15-16.
- inobla, on 06/17/2008, -11/+19"Anyone who supports human garbage like this should be ashamed of themselves."
*sigh*... I did, and I am. :( - JohnReb, on 06/17/2008, -6/+14I have relatives who are real hicks. They're mostly hard-working honest men and women.
Jones doesn't deserrve to be called a hick. - vault, on 06/17/2008, -7/+13He just plays the crowd. His readers want to hear that their problems are caused by someone else, in this case a 'globalist elite' conspiracy' so he gives it to them.
It's a tabloid for paranoid schizos. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -6/+13I have done the research and one thing I've learned is that you should never take Alex Jones' word for anything. I've never known him to give out correct information, except when he's telling you where to send your money for whatever piece of crap he's pushing at the moment. If you had ever bothered to actually check out the things that he says you would already know this. Keep your head in the bucket, beebelo, that's where it belongs.
- dshPls, on 06/17/2008, -7/+14Same here, I even shared Loose Change with my family, it was when I did some real investigating that I realized it was all *****.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -4/+10Yes, of course, punkin. I guess I should have posted the trash that you've been reading on Prison Planet or one of the other idiotic truther sites since that's all you seem to understand. Moron.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -4/+9Well, it looked like kemp34 finally snapped.
"The type of people, like yourself, who believe that the Bilderberg meetings are where the global elite just go to have tea and crumpets, are the ones who are really in denial-based dementia.
"
Citation? Or are you a student of the "card51" school of arguing, where you get to invent things we said?
I suppose unlike you, I'm not going to accept some kind of world-domination theory based on no hard evidence, with the only argument being "a large assembly of leaders"
Your next paragraph about the Tri-lateral commission is yet another strawman. For someone who complains about being grouped, you sure don't practice what you preach.
And then you start with the childish name calling, along with the homophobic insults, and then end it with some kind of hypothetical non-sense rambling.
You're not longer full-fledged, you are there along with the rest of the troofers. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -7/+12Spread that propaganda! After all, that's what you do best!
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -7/+12I guess that some people never grow up. How's the Jihad going, "Lady"K?
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -21/+26Alex Jones is one of the most vile and reprehensible human beings on the planet. He will exploit any human tragedy that he can find for his personal profit. He's a hypocrite of monumental proportions. He takes advantage of the simple minded for profit. Anyone who supports human garbage like this should be ashamed of themselves.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -3/+7I'm not about to get into a red-herring argument about the Bilderberg/TriLat, as it is irellevent to the original topic, and was a generalization you brought up to feul your strawman argument. Your attempts to lend credence to this strawman argument by suggesting that I would be "evading" it by not straying off topic is a laughable attempt to lend credit to your weak premise.
Nice job trying to back pedal on your homophobic insults. Don't try and give me that ***** for a minute that you didn't understand the vernacular behind "butt-buddy" when you used it. If you had meant it in the context you are now claiming you did, you might have just stuck with "buddy", or "pal", or *anything* that didn't carry a homosexual connotation. Pathetic attempt at the end there trying to reflect your own intentions on me.
As to your last paragraph, I understood that it was simply more internet tough guy "omg i could beat you up [intellectually] in real life" that was not only pointless and childish, but irrelevant.
Trust me, I would LOVE to engage you in a formal academic debate (with a monitor of course) in real life if ever given the chance. It would be interesting to see what you would resort to after you realized that your strawman/red-herring arguments wouldn't fly... - inobla, on 06/17/2008, -12/+16Dream on Kemp, dream on...
- vault, on 06/16/2008, -15/+19He's just a hick with a microphone.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -11/+15Hmm... Should I trust a community college dropout who promotes conspiracy theories endorsed by theologians, anti-semites, and charlie sheen? Well...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxQAq8ebDmU
Yeah, he's a nutjob. That, or a con-man who really knows how to play the part. - JohnReb, on 06/18/2008, -0/+4How much does he get paid by his advertisers for placement on his sites?
Why would you think the only source of income he could have is the video and audio recordings? Those are simply loss-leaders to drive traffic to him. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -10/+14Gotta love PaulBotâ„¢ Logic:
"I don't like GROUP A"
"GROUP A doesn't like PERSON B"
"Therefor, PERSON B must be a hero!"
As usual, kemp34 throws critical thinking out the window... - Hortnon, on 06/17/2008, -10/+14I think he's way past Ritalin...
- inactive, on 06/18/2008, -0/+4And let's not forget the fees that the radio stations are paying to carry his radio show.
He's a conman because he's packaging lies and selling them to the idiots of the world. - Hortnon, on 06/17/2008, -7/+11Actually, I'm strongly against drugs like Ritalin, or others. I think a lot of stuff is over-prescribed as a 'quick fix', that never actually does anything.
Lighten up. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -6/+9"do your own research"
That's the Troofer's most famous line. Instead of presenting evidence like a normal person, they tell you to "do the research", as if the burden was on YOU!
If you think Alex jones listeners are more educated than the average population, then you're out of your ***** mind. Jones is a community college dropout who plays to the ignorant part of the population... - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -7/+11I didn't realize that you were capable of sarcasm. That generally takes a more advanced intellect than the one that you possess.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -8/+12Never kicked a kid of any persuasion in my life. Still planning that suicide bombing?
- inobla, on 06/17/2008, -5/+9"Dream on about what?"
Step1: Go back and read your 'hero' message I replied to above.
Step2: Go read onetimer's response again.
Step3: Still confused? Return to Step1. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -7/+11My research involves scientific reports from reputable sources like MIT, Cambridge University, Purdue, Northwestern and other Universities of note. That's as opposed to you just mindlessly parroting whatever your handlers give you. I don't know if it hurts to be as stupid as you are but it should.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -8/+12Oh trust us, we have. It doesn't pan out. It *never* pans out. In fact, if you could link me to anything of his that *did* pan out, I would be surprised. And I would be willing to bet a small fortune that most of his listeners take his word as gospel and never do any research for themselves...
- inobla, on 06/17/2008, -7/+10Whatever you say, Paulbot.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -5/+8Complain about the state of psychology and psychiatry all you want, but mental health treatment today is FAR, FAR better than it has ever been in history.
- bluto36, on 06/17/2008, -7/+10ladyK is still planning her Suicide bombing. she is planning on exploding her pre-opt penis in a pizza shop, thereby killing two birds with one stone... kill joooooos with her penis. perfect plan really.
/ i kid, ladyK chopped her wiener long time ago. - inobla, on 06/17/2008, -8/+11Pharmaceuticals might not fit into your lifestyle Hortnon, but I hear there are some powerful anti-psychotic meds that benefit people like Todash19 and Kemp34 tremendously.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -7/+10I agree. Most PaulBots are tired, inane clowns.
- vault, on 06/17/2008, -5/+8You're less of a demented troofer and more of a pretentious ass.
Anyone who would come up with a malformed, sophomoric 'sentence' like, "Additionally, I have socio-psycho-epistemological issues with mainstream psychology and psychiatry in our culture in this day-and-age and have numerous fundamental disagreements with how our societal complexes approach mental issues." should be sent to Gitmo. - TheHomeOffice, on 08/08/2008, -3/+6I would say there is more evidence of Aliens than any troofer crap. For the record I do not think ET's ever have been here on earth but people like Stanton Friedman (Roswell UFO researcher) is sure as hell a lot more credible than that kook ***** alex (I hate everything American) jones.
On another note if you know about Drakes equation and have done it then you would think that the case for intelligent life elsewhere in the universe would be very good.
Sorry if I am off topic here but you have to understand that I am a Astronomy grad and I am currently working on my postgrad degree in cosmology. - inobla, on 06/17/2008, -7/+10Kemp, in the last 100 posts of yours I've read, it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have an extra #21 chromosome.
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -6/+9I haven't ruled out the possibility of a cover-up, albeit an elaborate one. What I meant was the "second shooter" theories, which computer generated simulations along with physical recreations have ruled out. (etc, the "magic bullet" trajectory has been shown to fit within the confines of the physics of the incident)
If there was a coverup, i'll never know. What I do know is that somebody, most likely Lee Harvey Oswald, took that shot from the book depository.
I highly suggest reading Bugliosi's book on the JFK assassination. It is lengthy, but takes a very detailed look at all the conspiracy theories floating out there. - Hortnon, on 06/17/2008, -3/+6Personally, my opinion comes from being the only one in a group of about 60 people through high school that wasn't prescribed Ritalin, and only because my parents refused it. I of course realize that there is a use for a lot of these drugs, but I think certain ones are probably over-prescribed.
- vault, on 06/16/2008, -14/+16bout time to refill your ritalin, huh?
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -7/+9Kemp is on the fence as far as troofers go. He is not quite willing to admit that he believes we are "government shills" of any kind, but if you watch him discussing the topic with other troofers, he says things like "oh yeah well there definitely a possibility..." or "oh yeah there might be an NWO..." This way he can imply these things without actually having to put himself out there as have making accusations...
He's about one step away from full fledged dementia... - inobla, on 06/17/2008, -6/+8"Dream on about what?"
I'm not talking about the chronological order you idiot. I'm not talking about reading my message either. I was referencing YOUR message above it. Let me put it another way.
Step1: Your logic sucks.
Step2: onetimer explains why.
You try to brush it off like you weren't serious; but you and your conspiracy friends consistently reason using the same kind of crappy logic.
You need to work on your reading comprehension as well before you look stupid calling somebody a moron. - fadeout, on 06/18/2008, -2/+4Alex Jones is ***** crazy when he's not blatantly just tricking his audience into buying stupid *****. Assuming he's just playing a role to these people to make money, like Art Bell or George Noory, may be giving him too much credit. I think he's nuts.
I actually did watch the Bohemian Grove thing and it's clearly just a Burning Man for important rich white people, it really makes sense that they'd want a way to kick back since it's not like Alan Greenspan can just go to a bar to get smashed or to Bonnaroo and drop acid like everyone else.. and the tinfoil loon naturally assumes it's a satanic ceremony. Kook-tastic. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -6/+9And you're just a moron with an attitude and no brains.
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -21/+23Alex Jones is a KOOK..buried !
- JohnReb, on 06/17/2008, -3/+5He's talking about this:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-700917095 ...
Watch the first 3 minutes or so to watch the "great patriot" harassing a few uniformed marines attempting to have a quiet lunch in a downtown NYC restaurant. - inactive, on 06/17/2008, -3/+4Alex Jones should have his citizenship revoked after that stunt.
Don't get me wrong, NYC is already full of mentally ill hobos shouting apocalyptic slogans to bypassers, that's not the problem. Alex Jones can appease his schizophrenia all he wants by acting like a fool in front of his cronies and the cameras. But harassing the men in uniform who are protecting his freedom, that's crossing the line. - GhostyBoy, on 06/17/2008, -3/+5Obviously everyone on this thread is heavily biased one way or the other.
I still check infowars now and then, because sometimes they do release information way before other media sources. On the other hand, said info has to be meticulously fact checked because much of it turns out to be wild speculation.
I've heard him give speeches that are inspiring, but the ads on his site are tacky *****.
Conclusion: Alex is both a hero and a nutjob.
/simultaneously buried by everyone -
