Activists throw flour on fur-clad Lindsay Lohan

news.yahoo.com — U.S. actress Lindsay Lohan has been pelted with a flour bomb on arrival at a Paris nightclub wearing a fur stole. Animal rights activists showered the 22-year-old actress with flour when she went to the VIP Room Theater in the early hours of Saturday with her friend, disc jockey Samantha Ronson.

    Have you ever bothered to look into the massive amount discoveries animal testing has helped make? I would be willing to bet that someone in your family has been saved by animal testing. Do you know anybody who has diabetes? had organs transplanted? Been vaccinated against diseases? Those were all accomplished thanks to animal testing. So unless PETA and you don't use any modern medicine you can kiss my ass. If you really cared about animal testing you'd never go to the doctor or take antibiotics in protest of animal testing.

    I'm happy that I can have a dog and cat. I'm afraid of the nut jobs in PETA who think NO ONE should have pets at all.

    I'm sad when animals are put to sleep by animal shelters, but I'm appalled by a group which demands that no one should put animals to sleep while at their own headquarters they put to sleep more animals per year than they got adopted.

    I'm afraid of PETA because it actively supports domestic terrorist groups like the ALF.

    How about doing a little research into the ***** you attack or the groups you support.

I know if someone threw flour all over my clothes, or red paint, or whatever just to try and make a point I'd be furious. Not only would I not want to even listen to their "side", but they'd be very lucky that they kept all their teeth.

    It's kind of like the mormon church incident that happened earlier. The church went against what a lot of people wanted so instead of rationally debating them, or talking to people about it some people decided to send white powder. I think most of us agreed that stuff like that is wrong, but that is kind of the same tactic here.

    Assault plain and simple.

    It's not so much the money as the fact that their having to pay restitution for the ruined article of fur clothing means that the victim gets a NEW fur with THEIR money actually causing more animals to be used.
    I always thought that this PROVED exactly how stupid they are.

    At least with flour it can be cleaned and not cause more animals to be killed by their direct actions.
