- Itazura, on 11/12/2007, -3/+59The same actor is in two shows....what an AMAZING connection. For you next digg make an article about Snakes on a Plane and Pulp fiction being "connected".
- indyGuy, on 11/12/2007, -0/+30Thank [insertGodNameHere] there is no Lost/Heroes in-show connection...
- mikelieman, on 11/12/2007, -0/+24When Syler woke up in the house in the jungle, I thought we could be going there. But we didn't.
- joegibes, on 11/12/2007, -0/+13Connection: Sam Jackson is awesome.
- drachemorder, on 11/12/2007, -0/+11Eh, do you really call this a "connection"? One of the stars from Heroes was a redshirt in the first episode of Lost. Huge connection there. I enjoyed the interview on its own merits, though.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -0/+11There were snakes in the briefcase! OMG it all makes sense!
- leefnaspleaf, on 11/12/2007, -4/+15Buried because you're another dumbass who tries to ruin digg with dishonest headlines.
Seriously, go ***** yourself. Those of you who don't see the problem with this: cancer that's killing digg. - joegibes, on 11/11/2007, -0/+5Wilson was never found...
- inactive, on 11/12/2007, -0/+5Hot actresses? i hope you're not including Molly in there, otherwise I'd take a walk down to my local police station if I were you...
Oh and his wife always was and always will be a munter. - Bukowsky, on 11/11/2007, -0/+5*SPOILER*
- ikoul, on 11/12/2007, -0/+4/Chris Hansen
- Mizzy, on 11/11/2007, -0/+4The rumor is....
*SPOILER* SEASON 4 *SPOILER* *SPOILER* SEASON 4 *SPOILER*
"Season 4 will begin with air traffic control speaking to the pilot of a plane that is in trouble. It will show both the plane and air traffic control in various shots. This is all done in a way that will make us believe it's NOT the Oceanic flight that Jack, Locke etc were on. Except it is. We'll see the plane crashing into the sea. We'll see the dead bodies of people we know. Then the "Lost" logo will come out of the screen."
So we will see the pilot. Got this from DarkUFO. - JFetch, on 11/11/2007, -0/+4We saw him die didn't we? Lost does do a lot of flashbacks though.
- dn11, on 11/11/2007, -0/+3you realize that half of Lost is flashbacks right? just because we see him again doesn't mean he is alive
- WordsnCollision, on 11/11/2007, -0/+3Just saw Grunberg/Parkman in "The Ladykillers" the other night, playing a hyper commercial director.
- Crazymaniacc, on 11/11/2007, -1/+4
so the pilot lives? Suddenly 'Cast Away' comes to mind.
- crzdmnsldy, on 11/10/2007, -0/+2why do i keep seeing buddytv.com this morning?
- kurupt, on 11/11/2007, -1/+3Holy *****
- daizaru, on 11/11/2007, -1/+3Heroes is nothing like Lost. They actually tie up some of their loose ends and stay on a plotline. Lost runs like one of those campfire stories where you say one part and then someone else jumps in for the next part and so on.
- kinggimped, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1I've always thought that Heroes' format was a little bit of a Lost rip-off, right from the first episode. Global mystery, nobody knows what the hell's going on, and answers are delivered in tiny instalments while 100 questions are posed.
The only difference is that Heroes decides to answer these questions, whereas Lost prefers to sweep all the important, confusing issues under the carpet and concentrate on revealing the answers to questions you really couldn't give less of a ***** about. Lost is the least self-serving show out there - they're yet to answer 90+% of the questions posed in season 1.
Still, I always knew Heroes would do well (despite the slow start and awful acting from certain parties), because it shared a similar, if a little more enlightening formula with Lost, which had found huge success by that point. Heroes lacks the extensive mythology of Lost, but Kring has (IMO) improved on the Lost style by creating smaller, less alienesque questions and then answering them before the audience gets so frustrated that they're considering boycotting the show until it actually starts to go somewhere.
Heroes for me has always been a 6.5/10 show at best, with even Kring admitting that season 2 has been laced with faults. The season 1 'climax' is a classic example of how far this show has to go until it's the 'great' show that NBC and over-zealous fans see it as. For a season finale, the words 'absolutely', 'disgraceful' and 'anticlimax' immediately leap to mind.
Post buried for misleading headline. - SteveIsTheDude, on 11/12/2007, -2/+3This guy is the luckiest guy on TV. He is so normal looking (read: not handsome) and gets paired with hot actresses. In the first season it was clearly not believable that his wife was so hot (in the first batch of shows) so they started to "down" her makeup to ugly her up.
- solid12345, on 11/11/2007, -0/+1Yeah well the heroes in law and order play rapists and serial killers in Oz, big connection.
- inactive, on 11/11/2007, -0/+1Lol Greg Grunberg is.....THE PILOT!
Awesome connection there man! - Random23, on 11/10/2007, -0/+1I'll also bury this for the misleading headline... the interview didn't need that lie to get people to read it.
- Bartboy919, on 11/10/2007, -0/+1I saw him in BASEketball.....
- chrisbarr, on 11/10/2007, -0/+1try a reply next time, like this.
- dn11, on 11/12/2007, -1/+2even though I'm not a huge fan of Heroes this season, this actor seems like a pretty cool guy
- dn11, on 11/11/2007, -1/+1but when heroes ties things up it is always disappointing. Lost may be all over the place but when it is at it's best you don't even care
- purzzzell, on 11/10/2007, -1/+1Buried for misleading title - the connection is the same actor...
And for fans of both, the writers had said they had some similar inspiration etc., but there would likely never be a cross over or connectin b/t the two - indiebird, on 11/10/2007, -2/+1wow i agree with kurpts answer. :]
- xbillybobx, on 11/12/2007, -3/+2Yep, there's a connection... they are both boring as hell.
- r81984, on 11/10/2007, -9/+3Hereo's is just a copy of the 4400.
There could be connection with 4400, but not with Hereo's since it is a copy. - chaos7, on 11/12/2007, -10/+3CONNECTION: both overhyped lame shows
- Doctorarzt, on 11/12/2007, -8/+1Stop The Strike! www.thefanunion.com
- inactive, on 11/10/2007, -10/+2the only connection is through a trail of ***** covered scripts
