Looking at samples from roughly each decade - it seems that playboys taste in women has gone
From curvaceous full bodied women.
To girls with no ass, huge plastic ***** and no pubes who need a good meal or two.
If you had shown me one of the modern day pics in isolation I would have said “that’s pretty hot”, but when you look at it in the context of all the older pics you realise how artificial, airbrushed, nose jobbed, photo-shopped, siliconed and botoxed the current fantasy women is.

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with load times in the manner you suggest.
