  • BlueAyez, on 10/25/2008, -0/+1The short answer is everyone : lobbied lawmakers, over zealous loan officers, mortgage owners who saw their house as an investment rather than a home, polcy makers, Wall Street "movers and shakers", investment companies without scruples -- you name it. Everyone has had a part in this.
