What's up with the architecture of Detroit's new casino hotels?

info.detnews.com — Both the new hotels at the MGM Grand and MotorCity Casino are substantially completed (Greektown is only just going up), and the question arises, what in the world are we getting, architecturally? Includes recent exterior photographs of the nearly finished hotel facades.

  • 0rion16, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0They look like *****...but this is Detroit, the "Dirty D", and therefore not at all sub par. The first building has a 50's appearance to it, possibly to blend in with all the abandoned early 19th century buildings littering the city.
