- Elnsoxo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Hrm, I wonder if that might be because those with a higher salary are more able to afford casual drinking at overpriced bars.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6An example of misleading information and an ineffectual ability to draw causal links.
This is just about the same as saying "people who own cigarette lighters have higher rates of lung cancer, cigarette lighters cause lung cancer!!" - UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5What if I already drink, can I make more money if I drink more? Because I'll do it.
- maklershed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I drink at work. Sometimes some co-workers and I go to the bar and grill restaurant next door called Chachkis. There's a really cute waitress that works there. She looks alot like Jennifer Aniston.

- mturn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1or possibly those who make more money have more stressful jobs, and have more reason to drink. either way, too many confounding variables here to draw any conclusions.
- Tawni, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have yet to see anything good come from drinking especially with a boss.
I just tend to avoid alcohol except on rare occasions and if I am stuck in the cubicle for avoiding a hangover so be it. - Xeppo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Did you ever think that it was BECAUSE they made more money, they drink more often?
You know, 80% of the people that I know who own large houses are rich, also. Wanna be rich? Buy a large house. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sigh.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hmm, now the question is, is that study factoring in the increased cost of drinking, from DUI to Liver Failure, to STDs and pregnancieS?
- Nation, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1gaming the system? NO
Dupe? YES
Inaccurate? YES - 4degrees, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1oh, is that why there is a dupe bury option... i didn't know that.
after all this is a forum where people post comments. Take your own advice, if you don't like the dupe comment/information then, as you so eloquently put it, "keep moving" - willistg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We work hard...we play hard
- mturn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I didn't see it! I don't sit in front of my computer hitting the refresh button repeatedly so as to not miss any digg front page news! The only thing more annoying (significantly more annoying) than duplicate stories is the overabundance of "DUPE!" posts like yours, plaguing just about every comments page on digg that I have ever visited. If you have already read the story, then keep moving.
- mturn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0two words: Wedding Crashers. No way in hell were those guys sober during the movie's filming.
- Fordi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I think it's more of a chicken and egg issue; Those who make more money can better afford to drink.
- ace87, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Hell ya!
- Fordi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Here, here! b33r for everyone!
- mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Must be where they negotiated their salaries...
