My apologizes for offending the dead. - johndi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Because Rosie is wrong. Donald Trump has never personally filed for bankruptcy, though many of the businesses he markets under his name have. While it seems like a technicality, after all the times she's spouted off she needs to do some fact checking in the future.
Moral high ground? Drawback of democracy? I think you are overestimate the importance of two egotistical celebrities arguing about who is special. - francisidada, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1How come people don't agree with Rosie? What she says about Donald Trump is all true, really he has been declared bankrupt many times wiping out shareholder value in his Trump estates, most of the estates only bear his name but he is not in financial control of the estates.
And can he really be the moral advocate of anything, or is he using the public's insatiable apetite for celebrity gist to his advantage, anything to make him all the more popular. This is a drawback of democracy, the popularity contest, tyranny of the majority.
God save us all.
