The Hispanic male I got when I pressed 1, spewed off all the major CC players and gave me a line about working with all the CC companies to help with the economy and help me with any of my balances of over $4000. I think he was looking for an "oh goody, I'd love to reduce my interest rate on my MC, Visa & Amex" and then, he'd ask for that information, so he could negotiate my rate of course. When pressed about which of my cards in particular he was representing he became agitated said he didn't have that information and then I got an attitude of I don't have time for this... when he said he had others waiting. The only reason I even bothered to press 1 is because I do have cards that are on a low introductory rate and had just spoken with one of my companies, just the day before. When in doubt, ask them to put it in writing and mail it to you.... and hang up!
