We have now the worst of both worlds: Socialism in bad time ( sharing the losses across board ) and hyper- Capitalism in good time ( the very few reaping most of the benefits). It is Socialism without the perks ( free health care, free education, fair taxation etc).

I saw it as that people making money and the benefits for people who already have money and the few who could squeeze a few bucks out as day traders.. I really do not understand how it really survives and have looked at it many ways
I never have gotten the market but I have watched it go up and down like a self induced hysteria and I have talked to day traders who explained to me how they buy and sell short..... crazy way to live and make money
It all sounds insane to me and not at all rational or feasible as a way to invest your life in that our welfare spins on this insanity
with no rules and regulations another white collar crime going untouched...along with banks and their liquidity.... I still feel we would have been better letting them make it on their own and we bought into a fear of what might happen.....along with the airlines that we also keep supporting while we get screwed
I - MercyPolitics, on 10/14/2008, -0/+2Yes, it is part of the 750 billion package. However, it is very likely that they will keep pumping a lot more tax payers money into the system.
