Obviously truckers do tho....and are feeling it as if they have holes in their pockets. I hate the idea of our store shelves being empty within 4 days but these Americans are losing their livelihoods because of the warmongering-initiated price hikes in gas making greedy corporations rake in record profits. I hope their strike helps people wake up and realize what's going on.......
More info on our Non Energy Crisis from an oil industry insider: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3340274697 ... - baalzebub, on 03/24/2008, -0/+4heck yeah! i hope enough long haul truckers do strike to get the attention they deserve, i used to drive a truck and it is not easy out their now, i dont talk much on the CB radio anymore but i do listen to it every day, and not any of them are very happy about the cost of fuel & insurance, they need some help until the situation with the exorbitant fuel prices are brought back in line to a reasonable price because the price of diesel (gasoline too) is just ridiculous...

- inactive, on 03/24/2008, -0/+3When I saw the headline, I thought the strike was going to be because of Bush's plan being implemented to allow sub-standard Mexican Truckers freely operate in our country, drugged up on cocaine to stay awake, taking away jobs from our truckers, adn putting American lives on the road at risk. If the truckers strike, I would hope they'd cite those reasons as well.

I'll tell you the answer to that question!
The reason the America-Thing, along with the American Truckers, are going down the tubes is, because these elected politicians of ours' (without regard to party affiliation) have collectively sold their souls to satan for filthy lucre since these self same appointed kings will be at the very top of this social food-pyramid scheme in which we, along with the rest of the population of the world, are simply the plankton floating around in oblivion, in our own little boats at the bottom of the Sea...we too, at the bottom, doing much of what we do for filthy lucre; better known as a 'paycheck'...
Besides Mexicans and muslims will do trucking a whole lot cheaper
