- nextekcarl, on 05/19/2009, -0/+1That's what I thought, too, but if you look at it as Andre is the ONLY employee actually making anything, and if you assume he's making min wage (so they can't replace him with someone cheaper, well, not easily anyways), then it becomes a different situation. I worked at a place a while back where almost exactly this was happening. They kept management (they were family) and laid off production employees and then complained we weren't getting as much done anymore. When I quit, we had a more than 2:1 ratio of management to production, and none of the management could do the production (it was very technical work that required a lot of training a certain aptitude for the kind of work we did).
