  • pennagal, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1What's happening to to people like George and Lillian reminds me of the factory-owner of the factory town in "It's a Wonderful Life," who figured out how to gobble up the property if not own the souls of darn near everyone in town. And while we can thank the Republicans for this, I don't see the Democrats rising to the challenge.
