The 'Mortgage Meltdown' Was No Accident

alternet.org — Sorry story of homelessness in America amongst the erstwhile middle class. Thanks to the passivity and ignorance of the masses and the concerted efforts of those at the top, the dream is over. Thank you Dennis Kucinich for bringing articles of impeachment, albeit a little late...better late than never. When can we vote?

  • pennagal, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1What's happening to to people like George and Lillian reminds me of the factory-owner of the factory town in "It's a Wonderful Life," who figured out how to gobble up the property if not own the souls of darn near everyone in town. And while we can thank the Republicans for this, I don't see the Democrats rising to the challenge.
