So put your money anywhere except a bank or investment bank. Use a Credit union, safety deposit box, pay off your debt, or just bury it in a mason jar under the woodshed. It's time to get mad a hell and not take it anymore!
- DigDouggler, on 04/28/2008, -0/+6Awesome idea. With fractional reserve lending, each $1 you take out can disable $9 in loan making capacity.
When the banks and wall street stop lying about value of their assets, specifically the bad debt stuffed off balance sheet, then they can start using my money to lend again. - AlwaysAwake, on 04/28/2008, -0/+6You can bribe them this way, and short term it may ease the burden. But the rotton system is then still in place. this game of one-upsmanship will go on ad naseum. It's just playing the game in their ballpark. And, in the long run, they control the field. We must support only candidates commited to abolishing The Federal Reserve System of banks, and the unconstitutional act of 1913 creating this private bank hiding in the government from competition.
- jasonkolb, on 04/28/2008, -0/+6Dude, awesome idea, hit 'em where it hurts!!! Taking mine out!
- mkellyrock, on 04/28/2008, -0/+5Great idea. Hope it takes off. I'll take some cash out tomorrow!
- StingingNettle, on 04/28/2008, -0/+4And the required reserves only need to be applied for checking accounts! They do not need reserves for savings. Its obvious the don't want us to save (they lower rates well below the rate of inflation). So why not take you money out of savings and put it into silver? You'll get a munch better return, plus you can actually spend it. I've spent a few liberty dollars before and it feels good. There are vendors out there that actually recognize the value of real money. Probably even more so now.
- Careby, on 04/28/2008, -0/+4It's time the bankers start worrying about the consequences of their actions. I can't stop the Fed from misappropriating my tax dollars, but I can keep my own dollars out of the banking system and off the "non-borrowed reserves" chart.
- jeheald, on 04/30/2008, -0/+3Great idea.
- StingingNettle, on 04/28/2008, -1/+4Best way to do that is here: http://www.libertydollar.org/
- factdigger, on 04/28/2008, -0/+2Thanks for your support! Please help continue to get the word out. If you can, link to other sites, post on other blogs, send to your friends via email, whatever you can do!
:0) CHL - SoulDesigner, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2AFIAK each dollar removed is 12$ they cannot lend, that is of course if they are sticking to the rules.
Great idea and good luck! - chirhonius, on 09/23/2008, -0/+1Great idea.
Also, guys - it helps to visit the same ATM. Alot of ATMS don't have that much cash inside. Your withdrawls plus the other regular weekly traffic could run it empty. - katie212, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1Done!
