Obviously, the concept (taking users on an 'adventure' of sorts across various sites) is dicey -- especially if the various sites are of limited interest. I guess I just wish they could have done more to encourage users to interact with the various sites the ads were placed on, as opposed to giving just one main action -- click to move along to the next site.
But an interesting concept, and one we might very well explore for a client sometime in the future. Could be particularly effective if it took users through different destinations on the same large site (i.e. different sections of the N.Y. Times, or different Yahoo! properties).
