Subprime solution: Swap ARMs for fixed-rates
money.cnn.com — A series of speakers at a Congressional hearing of the House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday called for restructuring adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) loans to help solve the subprime mortgage crisis. As many as 2.4 million American homeowners face potential default on their subprime mortgages during the next couple of years.
