- vonmises05, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3This is only a temporary fix and will NOT solve the problem. WE are not even talking about 10 or 20 years down the road; on the contrary, the effects of this on our currency will be felt in the next few years. It's classic Austrian economics-bad money drive out good, and an inflationary/macro-manipulated currency, while sounding good at first, always proves to be reckless and has disastous results. Hopefully after this necessary steps will be taken to create a more viable and solid currency. Fiat money can be converted into a value-based currency.
