- rudeboy1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Ahhhhh Sallie... what would we do without you...
- hyperguerrilla, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Hope this make page one. This issue needs the exposure.
- ClunkClunk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Perhaps Erin Mulkey (the name on the bottom of the Sallie Mae letter) needs a taste of her own medicine by us writing Harvard for her personal details as she's done with others at Adirondack CC.
Her linked in profile: http://tinyurl.com/34be3e
She's also on facebook, but I'm not a member of the Wash DC or Harvard network. - cspenn, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2ClunkClunk - the sad part is, she's probably just a low level flunkie who's doing what she's told for minimum wage.
- ClunkClunk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2By her graduation date of 2006, I would agree, she probably is. Unfortunately, "just following orders" isn't a decent enough excuse in my book. Perhaps by illustrating what they're attempting to do to students at Adirondack, someone at Sallie Mae might realize their attempt is not ethical.
- cspenn, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I'd also be willing to place a bet that if this gets visibility and press, Sallie Mae will come out with a statement that Erin Mulkey was acting alone without approval and has been fired/disciplined. I actually feel sorry for her, because if things get hot, she'll be the scapegoat.
