The TRUTH shall set you free! Vote for hope. - Hetman, on 11/03/2008, -1/+549% of Americans rely on coal energy. Yea strip mines are bad. 150 million people with out eletricity therefore heat in the winter may cause some problems however.
- allthebest, on 11/03/2008, -8/+9Dependence is NOT hope but servitude and despair. Not wanting what's yours stolen is not selfish but righteous. Obama? No thanks, keep that nasty change.
Envy, jealousy and bitterness are self-destructive and not hopeful. Wake up, America - syberyenta, on 11/03/2008, -11/+12Dugg.
No way, no how, n-Obama.
I'll pass on the hopey changitude. - wynja, on 11/04/2008, -0/+1There are other methods of mining coal that don't destroy mountain habitats. My ***** question was have you ever been witness to the atrocity that is strip mining? Which it's obvious you haven't.

Honestly, you're great entertainment. You and my morning coffee. Your sad little attempts to shut down diversity and dissent are sad -- but funny.
- Eire105, on 11/03/2008, -1/+1He is quite the lefty punk, isn't he? Tolerant too.
- akchrs, on 11/04/2008, -1/+1Did you just reply to yourself and call yourself a name?
- dsa205, on 11/04/2008, -2/+0Coal is really overrated, most of our energy is hybrid now.
- dynachrome, on 11/03/2008, -10/+8Bankrupting coal companies. wow, the oba-messiah is an economic genius!/sarc
I see gutterpunk lives up to his nic. LOL - Dukaht, on 11/03/2008, -10/+8I live in PA, I do not support a Presidential candidate that thinks it a good idea that PA residents go without electricity. Yes, B.O. is that stupid.

It is the only path to government takeover of electric companies. We need the government to control our utilities so that poor people don't suffer from living in houses without light and heat.
- Starfanfr, on 11/03/2008, -11/+8Lawrence Eagleberger said it best - "If the polls are correct we are on the verge of electing a Con Man President of the United States". Wake up America.
- wynja, on 11/03/2008, -4/+1I guess you dumb ***** have never had the pleasure of witnessing the tragedy that is a open strip mine.
- centipede874, on 11/03/2008, -10/+7Governor Rendell, listen up!!! The man your pushing to be president will cause an economic diseaster in your state.
- inactive, on 11/03/2008, -10/+6Spread the misery and trickle up poverty. That's obama's platform.
Vote tomorrow morning and clean your guns tomorrow night. There's a good chance you'll be needing them. - Ayrleig, on 11/03/2008, -12/+7http://digg.com/world_news/What_We_Know_About_Obam ...

Awww what a shame. Can't get it up in the morning Freepers?
Oh yeah... buried to oblivion. - wynja, on 11/03/2008, -8/+1***** the coal industry. Have you ever seen a surface strip mine? Yeah, it's the worst thing in the world you could do to a mountain habitat.
