- paydayadvances, on 11/19/2009, -0/+1I would say that design says for itself. I don't wont to offend the owners but they economized on designer. In this industry it plays on of the main role. I have an experience in making blogs and sites. They'd better take on of feeds like http://ameriloansearch.com/ and get more effect from work.
- sparagi, on 08/12/2008, -0/+1This is a very sharp website. I will say this, it's easy to just get rid of products and services we, on a personal level, do not need. With this being said, the big pink elephant in the room is that people are broke and they can't manage their money. What are we gonna do about that? Getting rid of payday loans doesn't solve that problem.
There is a huge credit gap between 36% and 391%, it would be nice to see someone fill that. That's what free markets do.
Personally, I would advise people not to borrow above the rate of return they're receiving on an investment. I don't think most payday borrowers get that concept.
http://introxl.com/ - ocellnuri, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1I was just cussing at a commercial for a "Payday Loan" and "Title Loan" business the other day. I hope it's made illegal soon. I love this site.
- Masonjar11, on 11/14/2007, -1/+2Great message, this is provoking in a way I haven't seen in a while from a website...
- leighsims, on 11/14/2007, -1/+1Thanks for drawing attention to this. Off to email my legislator now...
- jkoteen, on 11/14/2007, -1/+1I like the part about "buying off non-profits." That's a great strategy and gives a real illusion of community responsibility to irresponsible loan sharks everywhere.
- bradbelan, on 11/13/2007, -1/+1This part of the site needs to be more discoverable/highlighted so visitors can not only enjoy the parody but can take some action that can make a difference.
"Make Your Voice Heard
Write your representatives to tell them the truth about the PLA and payday lending." - townwise, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0This satire approach is a very effective way to get me to think about a serious problem that needs attention.
- tombl, on 11/13/2007, -1/+1My favorite is the comparison with indentured servitude...
- tkeys, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0Wicked awesome guys! I think I would have laughed harder if it wasn't so damn true.
- 32579, on 11/13/2007, -0/+0Brilliant! I like the idea of emailing my legislator...
Thank you for this. - jragon, on 11/13/2007, -1/+1Brilliant.
- larsliden, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0Hilarious and effective political commentary
- alicel, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0This is hilarious. I hope somehow it can reach the people who are targeted by these creeps.
- vadimts1, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0Thanks for doing this. Unfortunately, there are so many issues in this country that beg for such a great satire. I hope your approach will be very contageous.
- Katterjohn, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0Tax-deductible support for the predatory-friendly nonprofits in 2007 won't be possible without knowing their identities, I'm afraid. . . .
- mightypow, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0heh heh. personally, i enjoy a little snark in between bouts of sobbing and uncontrollable rage about how things are going here in this country, economy-wise and politics-wise, so i kind of loved this.
- deeptext, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0The breadth and depth of the site is particularly impressive.
- MichaelCarver, on 11/15/2007, -0/+0This is Hilarious, after you are done laughing and have bought a 501c3, I would encourage you to go to http://iasp.brandeis.edu/about/policies.html and learn about what folks are doing in the area of Asset Policies to help folks avoid such pitfalls.
- spao, on 12/03/2007, -0/+0Shout out to those who those who "were never on" a PLA blacklist! Great work, guys!
- equity, on 11/15/2007, -0/+0Great humor, and important problem to encourage people to address...
- StarGirlCS, on 11/13/2007, -1/+0The parody wasn't what I was expecting and made me uncomfortable at first, but I think it's great you guys have done something attention-grabbing and I hope to heck it works!
- Woodhouse, on 11/13/2007, -1/+0Genius.

- kenn, on 11/13/2007, -1/+0looking forward to the follow-up site, www.MaxExxonProfits.com. great site, satire and idea... ken
- MoCheng1028, on 11/06/2008, -1/+0The site posted on this digg is nothing more than the direct representation of peoples mass misconception of the payday loan industry. I honestly think that the people who made this site should target the banking institutions - or at least understand it better before trashing the industry.

http://www.PaydayAdvanceForum.com - Mrkhall, on 11/13/2007, -1/+0 I'm not sure if this is a topic that should be parodied, but if that's what it takes to draw attention to it in this infantile society then I guess I support it.
