- obeythefist, on 11/03/2008, -1/+8Have you been noticing in the last few days a big influx of poorly sourced, highly conspiratorial right wing bullhit on Digg lately? Freerepublic.com has a "Freep this Digg" thing that gets the nutjobs who frequent their site to push their preferred stories into your attention sphere.

Excuse us while we do everything in our power to keep such a hypocritical, ***** of a deity as far away from political power as we can possibly manage.
Oh wait, we already fooled you ***** into supporting Sarah Palin. The Albatross sings round your neck.
We laugh. Your God looses. Our God (who loves and supports ALL Americans, although he gets a bit condescending to you deluded little children) Wins! Life is Good.
President Obama... get used to it, you've got eight more years to go!:) - ironhide, on 11/03/2008, -0/+3Tell that to the heavily moderated FreeRepublic.com - not even a single dissenting opinion allowed.
- obeythefist, on 11/03/2008, -0/+3Diversity of opinion is all there is on Digg. You freeper idiots come in and clog up the discourse with lies and disinformation. 99% of what you guys artificially inflate has no basis in fact and only the looniest of conspiracy theorists would spend more than a few minutes discussing it.
- aletoledo, on 11/03/2008, -0/+2I completely agree with Obama being touted as a savior and he's going to impose more loss of freedom in order to give us more "security". However in reference to your points about the coal/environmental promise and the thermostat comment, he could just be pandering to the crowd. Look at what he promised for FISA and then did the exact opposite.
So I don't think you should judge Obama by anything he says, since clearly he's just trying to say anything to get elected. I think we'll have to wait until after the election to really see what he's about. Personally I'm convinced he's a corporatists, so we likely have nothing to fear about thermostats, because the energy sector will be able to control Obama fairly easily. - EridanMan, on 11/03/2008, -0/+2
Oh wait, you're a freeper. Sorry, I'll try not to scare you with any more big words. - EridanMan, on 11/03/2008, -6/+8Oh my god! The Dominionist Neo-Fascist Monkey can read from a teleprompter without stuttering?
I simply don't believe it! My world-view is shattered!;)
Ya'll have been trying this ***** for six weeks and it hasn't gotten anywhere... Now you somehow think that citing Ms. "I'm an expert on foriegn policy because I can see Russia from my House" is somehow going to lend you some credibility? The extent of your delusion is astounding.
"President Obama." Get use to it kids! - inactive, on 11/03/2008, -0/+2and would that be the God of Love you're always crowing on about, the one who is everything everywhere at all times, that you want to smite a part of himself? no wonder you schizo douchebags are constantly surrounded by a cloud of poison spittle, you are trained to hate yourselves. the thought of thinking for yourselves, without some blathering little rulebook to light your way, terrifies you.
- asgardshill, on 11/03/2008, -0/+1(hums "They will knooooow we are Christians by our 'love'" ...)
My imaginary sky creature can beat up your imaginary sky creature, Freeper propagandist. And my imaginary sky creature, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, is delicious with Parmesan and garlic bread.
Buried. - aletoledo, on 11/03/2008, -0/+1Clearly you are a fake. At all the GOP meetings I've been at, we've been assured that Obama is working off of our game plan. I can back this up with his recent support of the FISA immunity and the corporate bailout he championed. This is why we're working to get so my Republicans edorsements for him now or haven't you been paying attention?
Obama has even promised greater increases in the military than McCain, so jump on board, we're driving this boat still. - Shigglyboo, on 11/04/2008, -0/+1so this is what propaganda looks like...
- aletoledo, on 11/03/2008, -0/+1That doesn't make sense. Obama's plan was to charge polluters (such as coal plants) for their CO2 emissions. Importing coal from another country doesn't change this scenario at all.
You're better off arguing that he's pandering to the crowd (like FISA) than by trying to arguing against the environmental soundness of this idea. He was after all speaking on San Francisco radio and it was therefore tailored to a local audience of envirnomental activists. - Eire105, on 11/03/2008, -0/+0I know what you mean libertyone. It's hard to tolerate sheer ignorance -- or worse, the deliberate desire to destroy this country. Fact is, if I find out someone is an Obama supporter, they don't get my money. Ever.
I figure an Obama supporter is either willfully, cheerfully ignorant or, more likely, a far-left anti-American. Why should they get a penny of my money.
Oh yeah, I don't talk to them either. It's like talking to a gerbil. - Eire105, on 11/03/2008, -0/+0"My imaginary sky creature can beat up your imaginary sky creature"
Great. You have nothing to worry about then, do you? Enjoy your lunch. - inactive, on 11/03/2008, -2/+2Palin "slammed" somebody? hah, that's like a lobotomized Barbie walking up behind you and going "like, EWWW!!" and swinging with a whiffle bat and missing and falling down. Then winking "you betcha!" Yup, some slam!!
- Eire105, on 11/03/2008, -0/+0More spam from the butt crack.

The TRUTH shall set you free! Vote for hope. - inactive, on 11/03/2008, -2/+1We are at a crossroads folks. This is the final push.
While the majority of the United States filled with hope over the idea of getting out from under the oppressive disaster of the last 8 years, eager to change the politics of Washington so they better serve every citizen, and praying that they can rebuild the economy from the bottom up so everyone benefits, we as Republicans must stop them.
To date, those positive and hopeful people have somehow risen above our efforts to bring doubt, hate, divisiveness, and lies into political discourse this election. DO NOT GIVE UP. We can still SCREW everyone yet.
We need to do what we as Republicans do best.
1. Where others are speaking facts and truths, we must bombard everyone with with fear and lies (it is what we are best at).
2. If someone is positive and happy, we remind them how awful things are.
3. When we see positive change, we destroy it.
4. If someone presents hard facts, we ignore the truth and protect ourselves with our internal mental barrier that tells us FACTS LIE.
5. If we are wealthy, we serve ourselves.
6. If we are middle-class and poor, we serve the wealthy.
Let’s not let the hopeful and motivated Obama supporters change what we have all worked so hard to create over the last 8 years.
We cannot let their infectious messages of unity and progress for all reverse the financial ruin, war, and general despair we have built up over the last 8 years!
We must continue to draw on our inner hate and ugliness to crush those who wish for a better life for their families, and especially for their children.
Together, we can be a force of nastiness to be reckoned with. No one is better at under-handed, disgusting tactics than we, the Republican Party. Most people think we are low life disgusting people now... just wait until they see how much worse we can get!
For the next 24 hours, we will lie more, yell in people’s faces louder, scare old people and small children, spread false rumors about anyone who seems positive in any way about anything, tout our successes during the Bush years, oppress the weak, and most of all, hate everyone who is decent and kind.
McCain / Palin 2008
Together, we can divide the country and bring despair to everyone. Go GOP!
“Smite the Hope, Stop the Progress, Crush Change” - lisalw, on 11/03/2008, -2/+0Sarah Palin scares the crap out of Obama's team and his followers, and they've done everything they can to try and nullify the impact she has had on this election. Obviously, it hasn't worked quite the way they planned.
- Eire105, on 11/03/2008, -2/+0Why does a diversity of opinion bother you so? What scares you about opinions that aren't exactly like yours?
- HettyFauxvert, on 11/03/2008, -5/+1You know, people laugh at Republicans and say we're being reactionary and it's terrible overkill, the way we call Senator Obama a "Socialist" and sometimes even a "Marxist" ... but really, with remarks like this coming from him, what choice do we have? Obama's overriding viewpoint is that the U.S. must somehow be "saved" from itself, and to that end, he is willing to sacrifice an awful lot of people. What does he think will happen in real life when the coal industry goes belly-up? A lot of people will lost their jobs in a big hurry, that's what, and Pennsylvania and the other big coal states will have an even bigger economic mess on their hands than they do right now. Yes, we need to switch to renewable energy sources, but good grief, can we do it in an orderly manner?
And does anyone remember Obama's other famous line a few months ago about how other countries won't like it if we set our thermostats at any old temperature we like, and EAT as much as we want? My jaw dropped when I read that quote. Yes, Americans tend toward the obese, but good heavens, do we want the Food Police telling us how much we can eat? Or the Thermostat Police telling us how warm or how cool we are allowed to keep our houses? (They actually proposed that Thermostat Police crap a few months ago here in California, using thermostats that would be controlled on the power company's end, not in your house. There was an immense hue and cry, so they dropped it. But the Powers That Be were trying it on for size. I know these allegations seem too ridiculous to be true, but they are not. Look 'em up.)
Obama is selling himself as a "savior," but remember that the flip side of being a savior and helping you and saving you from yourself, is someone telling you what you MUST do. I prefer freedom to security. Your mileage may vary. - inactive, on 11/03/2008, -9/+4Has already been posted but worth repeating.
- nightrider8866, on 11/03/2008, -9/+4Get ready for your electricity rates to,in 0bama's own words,skyrocket!
- libertyone, on 11/03/2008, -6/+1God Damn Barack Hussein Obama.
God Damn Barack Hussein Obama voters.
God give me the courage to act properly and never, EVER, tolerate Barack Hussein Obama voters in my life, in my business, in my house or near my family. - stinkyjoe2, on 11/03/2008, -8/+3Obama prefers us to import our coal and oil from third-world dictators with no enviromental controls. Why is that?
